“I sent my wife’s car to Smithtown Autobody recently and the minute I walked in i felt at ease when I spoke to the front desk. Then I spoke to Kevin and I discussed the dilemma I was in. The whole process was flawless from start to finish and the body shop is top notch. I had a cracked back panel on my wife’s Subaru forester. They fixed the problem and made the car look like it came out of the showroom.
Also to top it off they not only cleaned the outside of my wife’s car, they also cleaned my wife’s inside as well, and it was super clean which was unexpected but also very gratifying to see, and professional on all levels.

“I brought my 2019 Thor Quantum here after my head unit gave a video error for my backup and sideview cameras. After having the dealership where I bought the RV from, kicked the can down the road trying to refer me to a Ford dealer, stereo shops, and two so called RV experts either telling me the don't work on cameras systems and I would have go elsewhere. I reached out to Thor who gave me the name and address for Perfect Bodies. I was told that they do Thor's warrantee work, and would help me even though my RV was no longer under warranty. I had no choice but to take it to Joe and his crew. They spent a lot of time on this issue, but got things working. Considering amount of time and and phone calls to Thor's engineers and technical support, my bill was more than fair.
I have no complaints and only praises for this shop. They are honest and hard working. What else would you expect from a professional?
I won't be bringing my RV to anyone else.

“Trustworthy and impeccable in their work - we had two cars repaired after being rear ended recently - they didn’t miss a single detail and both came out better than new. I returned to ask Dave a question a few weeks later (after a dealer tried to tell me it was time for new shocks 3 weeks after they had been installed by Schuberts) and he got right under the car and gave me all the info and knowledge I needed to understand their working condition. Wish everyone built their business on trust and quality like Schuberts has for so many years!”

Instead, the team was honest, knowledgeable, and fixed the issue quickly by diagnosing it as a couple loose steering drag link bolts that just needed tightening. They also took care of an oil change, and my total bill was only $141. It’s rare to find a mechanic shop that is this trustworthy and doesn’t try to upsell unnecessary repairs. Went over and above and buffed out scratch on the opposite side of the damage and touched up rust spots. Also had damage done to another vehicle where the located a used part and installed ot the day we picked up the first car. Professional and went over and above.”
