I love this salon. The atmosphere is very nice and peaceful. The people that work here are all pleasant. I only get haircuts and it's great that the stylist always makes sure they are cutting the right length.

I got a blowout here prior to a weekend full of events. My stylist was punctual and very kind. The shampooing process is relaxing (you get to put your feet up) and they even give you a little head and shoulder massage after. My hair looked great and it was reasonably priced.

Everyone here is so talented and meticulous! This is a particularly great place for Asian hair because they really know how to cut straight hair and also use color treatments that are formulated for Asian hair. Prices are reasonable for the quality and service and you save yourself a trip into NYC. I was honored to receive my color treatment and cut from Mr. Yasunori Watanabe, who is the President and CEO! He gave me partial highlights and trimmed my hair into a nicely angled cut. I love it! Thank you!

My got my haircut by Emi and I am very pleased with the result! She is super friendly and listen to my request and concern about my hair before working on it. The service there is top notch and the place is impeccably clean. I hope she stays working there so that I can keep getting my haircut with her in the future. Highly recommend this place and the stylist Emi!!

After moving from Tribeca to Scarsdale I wasn't sure if I could find a good salon for both myself and preschool son. Momotaro has a very talented team of hair stylists. Yasunori cut my hair and Teddy cut my sons. Everyone was very friendly and there was a Zen environment that helped my turbo charged child relax. Both stylists paid exquisite attention to detail. Very professional place and a nicely designed space. I'll definitely be a regular.

Momotaro has phenomenal service, great pricing, and is extremely clean and professional. I went for my haircut recently and they were very accommodating to fit me in with my work schedule. Such a wonderful open and airy salon - with personalized service and attention the detail! I am not surprised given my experience w salons in Japan and was so glad to find something similar here! If you haven't tried one - run don't walk - you won't be disappointed! I had Emi as my stylist and she so carefully talked to me about the color and style I wanted - and then meticulously applied it and carefully cut my hair! Not to mention the great massage shampoo and relaxing reclining chairs for washing?! Why doesn't everyone have these??? Great COVID precautions too. All in all I was so pleased with the experience and the outcome I will definitely go back. Tip: it's on the 2nd floor right across from the station so look carefully for the salon sign!

I am SO picky with my hair and I've been struggling to find a hair stylist who I can trust ever since I moved to the US in 2013 but I can finally say I found the one ! Emi-san is my hair stylist and she does an amazing job every time. She worked as a stylist in Japan for many many years before she came to the US (relatively recently) so she knows the trend and she certainly have the skill and experience. She's also super friendly and I love chatting with her. I always feel so comfortable with her and I feel like I can ask her anything about my concerns with my hair. I highly recommend her to anyone who's struggling to find a Japanese hair stylist in the area :)

Emi did my hair and it looked beautiful for days. Many people complimented me on it, including my critical mother. The scalp massage before the styling felt amazing. Friendly and pampering establishment I can't recommend more highly.

Service from the moment you enter till exiting is gracious and professional. The salon feels high-end, with only a few words of description they get what you want. Watanabe, was my stylist for the session. His technique was precise and I felt at ease and could trust him with my hair. He delivered the hairstyle I've been searching for without any of the first time jitters you get when trying a new salon. Happily looking forward to my next appointment.

Ahhhh so im really picky on picking a hair salon. And moving to larchmont.. with my asian hair it hasnt been easy to find a real good place. BUT OMG THIS PLACE. Yasunori Watanabe did colored my hair. I LOVE IT. I wanted a light brown, a change from my dark hair. I really respected the fact that he didnt even ask and he figured out to dye my hair without bleach. Thats respect. Ive done bleach 7 times before to get blonde and it ruined my hair so much. This is my to go place. And through covid, theyre all safe and sanitary. So dont worry!!
