I had a nice experience at the main Scarsdale post office today, Monday October 23rd. The kind clerk helped me out in processing an in-person change of address request. The clerks helped me out with a smile and it was a plus that there was no line and ample street parking!

When I went to the Scarsdale Post Office, I was impressed until we went to the clerk. The clerk seemed to have no regard for our presence. He seemed highly annoyed that we were even there and didn't even look at us.

My husband and I have been going to the Scarsdale Post Office on Chase Road for over 31 years. We have always enjoyed pleasant interactions with the entire post office staff. On our recent trip there to mail a package and complete our passport renewals, the manager and the clerk could not have been nicer. I believe the manager's name is James - I hope this is accurate - and our clerk was Fakhrun Chowdhury. Thank you all for the professionalism and the quality service that you have provided our family with for over thirty years.

This is usually my go-to post office. It’s a bit of a drive but I don’t mind because the staff and amenities are better here. However since I last came, they’ve completely removed the self serve package station and completely removed the package drop-off bin. It was the main amenities that I came to this location for. It’s also too far out of my normal commente to be able to get here on the days I work. So I guess I won’t be coming back anymore.

I never go into places right before they close because I don't want to make the employees stay. In this case I only needed to mail an envelope so I went in. I was standing in line for several minutes behind 2 other people when someone from behind the counter walked over and told me that they were closed. I said I had been there for a few minutes and showed her 6:03 on the clock. The door is loud so I don't know how she could have thought I just came in, but she told me that I was not there, then told me "I deal with people like you every day," so too bad and come back tomorrow.Mailing my envelope could have been done in less time than this short interaction took. There was only one person working at the counter there and it was someone else. I'm not sure what she was doing back there but I know it wasn't being helpful, pleasant, or aware of her surroundings.2 stars because she told me her name when I asked, giving me the wonderful opportunity to put it down here. I don’t usually do these but I have to commend the great customer service offered by Amy. We had an appointment to renew my daughters passport in the Ardsley post office. After arriving we were told they no longer handle that there and that we should try other post officed in the area that may be able to help. We stopped at two other post offices and were turned away immediately after being told we had to make another appnt. Third time was the charm when we ended up on the Scarsdale office and explained to Amy what had occurred. She explained that she had to take care of those that had appnts scheduled there but that if we were willing to wait she would help. She went above and beyond to assist me and my family and we were able to get everything taken care of!

Worst post office in the USA. These people work on taxpayer dollars and get a pension?????? They should be stripped of it. Go anywhere else but this post office. Attitude galore. Go anywhere else. The. Service here is non existent.

Chris Lewis delivers to our office on a daily basis he is corteous, polite, respectful and very friendly. I only wish that all postal workers had the same demeanor.
