Visited the Rotterdam NY store on Altamonte Ave. First time I have ever visited the store. A young man who is the manager (Payton) of this store was out standing. Very professional and well trained. Kudos to him and whoever hired him. Thank you so much for all your help today Payton.

I've been meaning to do this for a while! I LOVE this AutoZone!! They are so friendly and helpful! I wish I could remember names, but I'm terrible with that.
Here's the short if you don't want to read the whole story: SUPER kind and helpful employees! The manager is one of the nicest managers I've ever met in my life, which says a lot because I'm not young. The store is neat, well organized, and clean. But really, I can't emphasize the employees awesomeness enough! Willing to go above and beyond, fun, funny, helpful. Just amazing! Highly recommend!!!
I needed to get the spray stuff for your car's AC. It said $37.99 on the shelf, so I grabbed the 2 I needed and then went to self checkout. As I was walking out to my car, I realized that the total was WAY more than it should have been.
I went back in and the young man that helped me was so pleasant and for a while, neither of us could figure out the issue. We finally did and they did a refund and I bought a different set.
While we were waiting for his co-worker, I asked about his car knowledge and if he knew about another issue that I was having. When we were done with my refund, he came out and took a look. He even got under the front of my car and took pictures to show me!!! I told him he didn't have to do all of that, but he said that he wanted to! I was SO grateful! I was able to get an answer to something that had been bugging me for so long!
Anyway, I noticed that my refund hadn't gone through within the 10-business days, so I called the store and spoke with the most lovely retail manager! She was so understanding and wanted to help me out ASAP to get my money. I had my receipt, so she was able to research it and found the issue and asked me to come in so she could give me my money back.
I went in the next day and she was already expecting me! The other staff was super polite and even joking with me while I was waiting for her to come to the front. At which time, it was a quick transaction and I was on my way!
It is so hard to find places that have such friendly people working for them. These folks were genuinely kind and even fun/funny! I even told them on my way out that I wish I lived in Rotterdam so they would be my closest AutoZone. As of right now, I live about 30 minutes away. They just happened to be the closest on the day I went to get my air conditioner stuff.

Unprofessional. I asked about a part they said its not in stock. Never gave me an option to order it. I go online and am able to order the same part to my house by tomorrow. Waste of my time even going to the store. Maybe hire people they were born in the usa

The female employee i didn't get hear name but she is useless absolutely useless I asked if they have universal joints in stock for a Chevy avalanche she replied to me actually no I don't have any in stock so I asked how long to get them if you ordered them. She hung up on me I tried back no answer very pour customer service

I believe the manager helped me! Lavin? He was so kind, patient and pleasant! Advanced auto parts down the streets said they wouldn’t install my battery because it was 30 mins to close. Lavin didn’t care about the time! I felt like a priority. Also a major weight lifted from my shoulder; knowing my car will start for work in the AM. The girl that cashed me out was also sweet and friendly. Great people & great customers service!

Some staff were helpful and courteous, while at least one my husband came into contact with wasn't very helpful and clear in his explanation.
Great place nevertheless to have what you are looking for.

In the bitter cold at night, 3 of your team members (one was being trained) helped me test and change a battery. They were a blessing to me. I didn’t have to call a tow truck when my car suddenly stopped working in the parking lot. They were courteous and I appreciate that the older one was adamant about doing it right. It was unfortunate and cold but these guys turned a potentially frustrating moment into a good experience.
