I received excellent customer service today (11/15 at 10:30 am) at this State Street, Schenectady CVS. The item I called about the night before was indeed held for me behind the counter. I was pleased since it is an hard to find gingerbread decorating kit. I checked out with several items. The cashier/employee was helpful, patient, knowledgeable about store products. She even brought me a shopping cart when I asked. I did not bring my own bags, so she gave me two of the weak paper bags provided by CVS. One of them ripped (no fault of hers) as I was exciting the store. The cashier flew over, with a new bag, and picked the items off floor. I appreciated the concern on her part and her assistance. I wish I had gotten her name because she deserves recognition. The store was clean and neat. It was a pleasure to shop here rather than my regular Niskayuna CVS with the sometimes rude pharmacy team.

The lady at the pharmacy literally was complaining because she couldn't find anything and then complained that I was late to pick up my prescription. I work and can't always make it to the pharmacy before or after I get out of work. Honestly awful I'm switching where I go to get prescriptions. Could have not been worse

For the last few months, It seems as if there are only two people working at the pharmacy. I know they hand drive thru, phone ringing and customers, but their attitude leaves alot to be desired. I may start going to another pharmacy that's a little further away. Also at times, they take up to 3 hours to fill my prescriptions. I once asked them how long it would be and the response i received back was, "I don't know," as she walked away. nervous to ask said they don't know. I've noticed some unfriendly co-workers in the past few months. I wish they would hire more people, and get back to the way things used to be. Also, I wish they didn't take an hour lunch when most people come to pick up prescriptions at lunch. If they had a crew of fill inns employees would have less work and not get in such a sour mood.hank you.

This Pharmacy is just “ hard “ to deal with. They rarely answer the phone at the pharmacy and if they do they put you on hold. Went in there one day to buy one simple item and there’s no cashier available to check out. I went back to the pharmacy and was told, “ they have a self checkout “ up front. I’m trying to be fair and equitable here but frankly, this store is a PITA to deal with.

The pharmacy is totally inept. Negligent. And completely unconcerned about any pain or anguish they cause. Not the kind of place that people should frequent. Or assume your own risk.

Sabrina went above and beyond the call of duty at checkout to help us figure out a coupon issue. 11/10 customer service she deserves a raise.

I get tested for Covid at this CVS every Monday. It takes me 2-3 minutes to test. Today, a woman was in front of me in the drive thru to get tested. She CLEARLY did NOT set up an appointment, which is mandated according to the website. The CVS employee spent an entire 30 MINUTES getting this woman’s info and making a label, then testing her! I had no choice but to wait because there were no more appointments that day. This was unacceptable! The employee should have had the customer pull over and input her info online like the rest of us. To make a LINE of cars wait a half hour for ONE car is ridiculous. Many of us go on our lunch hour and nothing should take a half hour in a drive thru!

When trying to find a test site for a PCR test, the website says results within 1-2 days. 2 days passed by so I called to see about results; they had none. Called the lab that does the tests and they said it takes 2-4 days. Now I’m going to miss a flight. Would be nice if the info on the site was actually correct.

I typically love CVS pharmacy, but this specific store was a mess. The pharmacy employees are very dismissive. The entire store is dirty and unorganized. The vaccination area is a mess! Vaccine caps and bandaid wraps all over the floor. Cob webs by the seats where you wait. Just dirty and very uncomfortable. The entire store is neglected.

The pharmacist is rude and has an attitude. He doesn’t prioritize customers who are waiting in the store. He had 3 people waiting for vaccinations for an hour. Everyone had appointments. He kept answering the phone and serving the drive thru. He continued to ignore customer with an appointment even after another pharmacy team member came back from break.

This CVS has gone down hill so bad. Don't answer the phone. Stayed on hold from Albany to Schenectady 20 mins hung up when I got in the parking lot. Stood at the counter for about 15 mins before I got any assistant. One of my medications was very expensive. Had to ask Matt 3 times how expensive. Yes it was expensive. $410.50 Matt didn't even try to help get it cheaper or any other discounts. Which they have done before. Couldn't get my other medication out of stock. Matt said it would be there same time which was 12:15 yesterday called today got told it wasn't there and not sure if they will have it. So I decided to call cvs on eastern ave Matt answers the phone there. Said its getting filled at 2037 state st. Funny cause I was just on the phone with them and they dont have it. Sad we can't even trust the pharmacy anymore.

Went to drive thru today and told her I was there for pick up. She asked name and date of birth then announced the prescription I was picking up by name. They are not supposed to do that. Everyone inside the store would hear what she said and that’s a violation of privacy laws. That should never happen.

The last three times I've come to pick up scripts or gotten a flu shot; they want to charge more than it is. The flu shot is supposed to be free as I have 2 insurance companies. The pharmacist wanted to charge me $25. I get baby aspirin free and they wanted to charge me. One time they tried to charge $200 for a script that cost $9.00. Not certain what the problem is but I always seem to have issues. They couldn't fill a script because they didn't have enough. Just not professional at all. It is the most convenient to me and they have a drive through which is good because I have MS. If I had another option, I would go there.
