This is the most ghetto CVS ever and im from the south Bronx!!! That says a lot about this place. They have so many people working there, but nobody knows what they're doing. They're like chickens without heads. She told me to sit down and wait. So I waited. And waited. And waited. My meds were just sitting there and I waited in vain. Had i not gotten up to ask, i would still be waiting.

Horrible horrible horrible service. Medication is never ready even when they send you text saying it is. Extremely rude employees. Rather than explaining the situation they tell you that there is nothing there for you even when you have the doctor on the other line confirming that they indeed sent the prescription over. They behave as if they don't want to give you anything let alone mutual respect. The girl who wasn't doing her job let alone doing it right would just roll her eyes and mostly give one word answers to my question, she acted as if she didn't want to be there and as if it was her that was being inconvenienced. As a person who is currently sick and with asthma, CVS pharmacy employees basically refuse not to give me my medicine it is very disheartening and frustrating. Wouldn't recommend this location. If you have a choice run away don't walk. I will be finding a new different pharmacy who hopefully doesn't hire assholes like this CVS located does. If I could give this location a -100 rating I would. It is unbelievable how bad this location is, it clearly shows CVS headquarters and higher-ups truly don't care even though it involves people who need their medicine to stay healthy and/or alive. The way they treat customers makes me wonder how they sleep at night. they are getting paid to ruin customers day that should be the Cvs tagline instead.

my experience here (i’m talking about the front side of the store not the pharmacy) is usually good, but this time the single worker refused to help. just stood there doing nothing while i was waiting for help, and lied and said there was nothing in stock. i understand the worker is lazy/tired cuz of being the only one in the store but come on. ajaba khalag di i swear.

I just bought a Steam Card, but I bought it by mistake and want to replace it with another card/refund. But they don't want to help at all even though the shopping receipt says it can be refunded. What an unpleasant experience shopping here.

Management at this location needs to be on top of their staff better. Walked in tonight (11/2/24) to make a quick purchase and all you hear is the two younger females working the counter at the front talking loudly about some lady and every other word coming out of their mouth being a curse word. As if this is a high school hallway and not their place of employment. In addition they were very much aware of customers being present in their vicinity. Disappointing and honestly, hella ghetto.

Worst customer service ever, especially the new manager and new staff. You guys make the regular customer that goes there don't even want to be there anymore. Close the store and open for better but sorry you guys should just close down.

My orientation experience at CVS was absolutely terrible, all due to the OPS manager, Shafiul. He was completely unprepared and went out of his way to make me feel unwelcome and disrespected. Despite claiming he wasn’t being rude, his actions made it clear he didn’t want me on the team. I was genuinely excited to start, but his unprofessionalism and blatant disregard for basic respect showed he has no place in a leadership role. It’s unacceptable to treat new hires this way, and the fact that they’re unlikely to address this issue just proves how little they care. 🙁
It’s beyond me how someone can act this way when kindness costs nothing, especially when CVS Health stands by the idea of ‘Bringing Your Heart to Work.’ Clearly, not everyone got the memo.

Every time I try to get my asthma pump I have a hard time getting it refilled, they tell me to speak to my insurance I call my insurance the problem is not on the insurance end. That they are able to pay for it and I have no co pay. But cvs is telling me different that I have to pay.

This place is not bad at all, there are many things. They also have a food department, a party preparation department and various food items. They have a monygrm system to transfer money internally or internationally. They also have laundry powders. With high-quality companies to make shaving machines.I like the idea ? to have everything in one 1️⃣

Everytime I come here I hate to wait a ridiculous amount of time to be serviced and when it’s my turn I keep getting told their on lunch to come back. This has happened multiple times and needs to be fixed. Myself and three others that has been waiting had to leave without our prescriptions because of “lunch”. Absolutely ridiculous

The staff at the CVS on Eastern Avenue location are very welcoming and helpful. The manager is very kind and nice. The store has improved since she has been there. I’ve been shopping here for years and I see a big difference ever since she came. Great job guys.

I am 34 years old, and I have had open heart surgery, and I have other physical disabilities, causing me to be slow. I always felt comfortable shopping at CVS, because my sister is an employee, and has put in almost 10 years of service.I just got out of the hospital after being there for almost 2 months, and I was browsing, placing items in my cart that I wanted to buy. Just when I was about to cash out, 2 police officers approached me, telling me that the manager called them because he was "uncomfortable with how slow I was being." The officers were very rude. I felt so embarrassed and disrespected, I just left the store. My sister brought me back in the store to get the name of the white male manager who called the police on me, but we were met with coldness from another female manager. Instead of apologizing, this female manager affirmed her coworkers actions, and she blamed the demographics of a "high crime area." CVS CHOSE to have their store in this location. Sorry, but it is not ok to treat YOUR customers poorly according to your own prejudicial bias. If you feel uncomfortable with your customers, you have no business working in customer service, PERIOD.Be careful, customers! Apparently it's a crime to shop at CVS on Eastern Ave. CVS: If you are going to allow employees to call the police on paying customers, then stop displaying your merchandise in an "eye-catching" fashion. Then, people won't "make your managers uncomfortable for taking too long" browsing/shopping.
