After an entire year of ontime payments with this company I recently moved all my things out and ended my contract. When I was done moving all of my things out I had two cardboard boxes that were not needed. I neated folded the two boxes and put them in a location by the front door where a trashcan was once located but isn't anymore. When I called to end my contract I was informed I would be charged a trash removal fee for leaving the two empty folded up cardboard boxes by where the trashcan use to reside. I was told to come remove them. I live over 2 hours away from the location and work full time. It can't be done. So instead after a full year of on time payments they won't even put two cardboard boxes in the trash. The person I spoke with on the phone was adamant and rude about the situation. It blows my mind that a company can treat people this way who have given over 3600$ to their company. I will never being using Extra Space or Lifestorage ever again and I will be telling all my friends family and coworkers the exact same. This is a company that doesn't not value your business.

We had a house fire in December. House was a total loss. We were able to spare somethings kept in the basement. We went to check our unit and all mice poop inside. Now we have to file a claim.

Be VERY careful renting a unit there.. after you pay your first 4 months up front they raise your rates by almost 75%… they claim it was a promotional price but in multiple phone calls, emails and the website that information was never there.
