The Guilderland Travel Plaza is a typical, newly reopened travel plaza on the NYS Thruway. It offers good and large parking for trucks and cars, though some find the layout smaller and the parking awkward and cramped. The facility is nice, clean, and well kept. It provides a bathroom, a small shop, a Burger King, and a Starbucks, where you can eat inside and outside. There is no shower and no EV charging at this location. Some note the bathrooms can need attention, while others find them clean. The entrance doors are heavy and awkward. It is generally quiet enough at night, though it can feel tight on busier travel weekends. The plaza is considered accessible, with friendly employees and an all-in-one spot that is wonderful to have on the road.

As rest stops , go , this one is fine. It was clean with some variety of food offerings and a fairly nice restroom.

Chilled here a couple hours on a long trip, the boys on night shift deserve a raise every time I went inside they were busy cleaning or doing something productive. Great atmosphere atleast that’s my experience.
