Nickie, the phlebotomist, was great. She has professional bedside manner, when assisting my mother. She asked questions and made sure she was comfortable. They have a kiosk station to register. It asks for your drivers license and insurance information before you are called for blood draw. They have parking in the back and when we were there , it was not crowded.

Went in yesterday January 13th and got there maybe 20 to 25 min. B4 they closed and the 2 women that were working said they didn’t have time for me. According to google says their labcorp closes at 12:00. And I told them and they said no we always close at 10:30. It wasn’t 10:30 yet they could have took me. They had only 1 other person in there and me. When you’re in healthcare you should take the time for others. They were obviously in a rush to leave. They sent me to the one on state street. They have great customer service on state street so I will just go there all the time now. My boyfriend was with me and our toddler was with us when they turned me away we just looked at each other and just can’t believe how lazy. They had time for me and best part is when I went to the other place, took the girl only 5 min. So the two women on union street would have still got to leave at 10:30.

This rating is not about the technicians. They were great. The problem came when I received a bill from my insurance saying the bloodwork wasn’t covered bc they are an out-of-network provider. Why couldn’t they tell me that before I had blood taken???? They never asked for my insurance card I don’t think but they must’ve bc they knew who to bill. I filed a grievance with my insurance company but I’m not sure it’s their fault…

Only one person working today at Union Street location when I got here at 7am. This woman was wonderful and caring. She knew what she was doing, a true medical professional. Highly recommend !! 12/27/23.

The place was easy to get to and clean. BUT they have one person working. She was lovely, but clearly overworked. One person to take a waiting room full of people and have to do all the draws as well as admin work? That’s ridiculous!! Especially in the morning when everything is a walk-in and you have a full waiting room of people fasting!

Must be updated Saturday hours: 10:30 is indicated on the sign as closed. It is incorrectly stated on the website that it closes at 12:30. Along with many others, I went to the door, but it was locked.

Rude staff and incredibly rough phlebotomist. Poking and jabbing for nothing.

TW: Specific descriptions of blood draws and traumaMy veins are small and I frequently end up with multiple sticks and blown out veins when trying to have blood drawn. So my expectations are always low.I was able to park in the back because my appointment was first thing in the morning. There is TONS of street parking, so just park out front. It's closer to the door anyway.I checked in from my car on my phone. Which was so simple and streamlined. I headed inside when I received my notification. When I walked in the door, the woman at the desk called my name and sent me right back to the room.Because I have such difficult experiences with blood draws, I have to let technicians know because one time I was stuck so many times I passed out. The woman who took care of me (I wish I could remember her name!) was super empathetic and very thorough when searching for veins. She had comics and even object finds printed out and placed around the little room to help keep people like me distracted from the procedure. She even played the object find with me. It was like a short visit with a friend. I was so relieved to have such a kind person drawing my blood, because I have been the victim of people treating me as just another routine and then causing me immense pain from expecting my veins to be like anyone else's.It was a perfectly normal amount of pain from the stick and the removal at the end. Nothing out of the ordinary. And that was excellent for me.I saw all the bad reviews and had anxiety about using this location, but it's so close to my home I went anyway. I was glad I did because it was a very smooth process, facilitated by a very kind technician.

Unfortunately the woman that work here are mean and rude. They don’t want to do their job! It’s your job to drew blood and to provide customers with a service.

This location was easy to get to and my wait time was short. That is where the praise stops. I went in for a routine blood work draw and the phlebotomist knicked a vein and now I have a huge bruise. I look like an intravenous drug user. I'm about to go on vacation! Not ok.

I went with my husband. Of course they took us separately and each tech told us something different. I'm insulted. She said I had a copay and said she couldn't draw my blood until I paid the copay. Fine but when I told my husband about the copay( about 8 $ apart ) he was told that they could bill him. Wow! Why could he get billed and not me? It was routine blood work for our GP. Very disappointed.
