The students were very nice, I went for simple root color. Big nightmare. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Like they say you get what you pay for.

Terrible establishment, students are basically paying for their certification and doing the bare minimum to get by. Their instructors teach them based on their clients hair, not what the client wants. Wouldn't recommend if you want anything professional done. You'll basically be going for them to say no to what you actually want, and pay them to do their own thing with your hair. Not a trustworthy business. They will ruin your hair on purpose also if you try question them.

Worst haircut of my life asked for a trim got a big chop instead. I am embarrassed to show my face in public until it is fixed, which will take months since my hair has to grow back out. If you are going to get your hair done here I recommend micromanaging the process.

These people botched my hair the back is crooked and I want to cry i received a nightmare of a haircut i asked how long it looked in the back and they said it is about mid back which is a blatant lie. I wanted to cry in the salon but I managed to make it to my car. To get my hair fixed back to the length I wanted it will be about 500-700 dollars.

I asked for a trim I got a chop instead it was the worst cut of my life and makes me distrust hair professionals. I asked the supervisor about the length and she replies that it was mid back which is not the case and the back is uneven. I am so angry and sad. I hate the way my hair looks and an embarrassed to go in public shame on Paul Mitchell. I won't go back since the only way to improve my hair is to get extensions which are not cheap at all. or to grow my hair out to the length I had desired which will take about six months. The students were also very bad and never knew what to do and always had to ask a supervisor which should've been a red flag.

I’ve only had one other bad experience and that was years ago. Until today…I’m used to the guest service of a wash-cut-blow dry taking up to a couple hours.Today it took 3 hours…at what point is a “Learning Leader” supposed to step in and show that customer service/a customer’s time is a priority??The first red flag was after washing when *** said “It’s so much easier to wrap the towel on our mannequins,” as I walked back to the chair with a wet mess of hair & towel.?Then after the student cut my hair (a simple trim), the learning leader pointed out how it was slanted.?Them came the blow drying incident…this student acted and may have even mentioned how she had never blow dried before (other than her mannequin). She was totally uncomfortable, had really bad technique, and mentioned she had no idea what she was doing. I wanted to just take the dryer and do it myself. Not to mention she had no interest in showing me the products or recommending anything. I’m always open to that stuff. Sell me something.By the end of this horrifically long experience, I had 2 students and a Learning Leader untangling a round brush stuck in my hair while the 4 of us fake smiled, pretending it wasn’t a complete mess of a moment.I felt bad that I didn’t leave a tip but I spent that tip renewing my parking spot and buying a pint at Katie O’Byrnes to calm myself down afterwards.

What a joke! Don’t have any services done here you will literally be in a salon chair for 6 plus hours. The floor leaders (teachers) are constantly unavailable to provide guidance for the students during the duration of the service. The whole staff and students are constantly on their phones. I could have gotten out of there with the hair color and style I requested within a decent amount of time if everyone was working together and off their phones, instead I sat most of the day waiting in the salon chair while they all chatted together about what they were getting for lunch and checking their phones. There’s definitely a lack of communication with what an expected outcome of your hair will be. They love to upcharge without telling you even if they make a mistake with the hair color they charge for that bowl of color. I saw plenty of upset and dissatisfied customers during my service. Most customers were in disbelief they had been there so long.

Took my daughter for the first time for hair service. Wash, blow-outand trim. She's biracial with curly/coil hair type. Service lasted over three hours. Pro is that they were polite, respectful and put in a lot of effort. Con is that they didn't seem to have/used right tools for her hair type. Manikins I noticed had straight type1 hair. As a beauty school this does not represent a diverse clientele.
