This was my first time visiting this location as we were driving by. The staff was incredibly rude (Specifically, Stacy) When we walked in, we were told it was 20 minutes until closing- no hello or welcome. As soon as we started looking around, they shut the lights off for half of the store and closed fitting rooms and began yelling that there’s only one register and if you wanted anything you needed to check out now. It was the weirdest and most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had in a thrift store. Couldn’t tell you what the selection was because it was clear the two ladies working wanted to end the day regardless of who was in the store.

There is an okay selection because this is one of the larger Salvation Army stores in the area, but the prices are insane for the literal garbage you often find in there. You will literally find plastic takeout containers full of SHARDS OF BROKEN GLASS being sold for $5. I wish I had pictures of this but I promise that is not an exaggeration. You will find tons of other things from dollar tree composition notebooks with 3/4 of the pages ripped out sold for $2. A lot of Dollar Tree items marked up for well more than their original price.
The clothes are the only part that is actually upsetting, not just absurd. Example from this weekend: see this child's shirt with a large hole in the front being sold for $7, and a worn-out tee shirt absolutely covered in gross yellow and brownish splatter stains (not showing up great on camera) for $4, when honestly that shirt should have been thrown in the trash. People who cannot afford regular retail prices deserve to at least have access to clothes that are clean and in-tact. If you are selling things that are ripped up and covered in filth it had better be very, very cheap. This is depressing.

Your typical Salvation Army. Nothing’s organized by size and overall pretty dirty

They have a much friendlier manager/head cashier that is a valuable addition to the Salvation Army. Always good deals can be found here.

If you're looking for something specific, it's not a good place. But if you're looking for any bargains and overly used items, this is the place that
has it. I read somewhere that you shouldn't buy any clothes or shoes from any thrift stores because of bugs and germs??
(I hope that they are wrong.) I usually don't buy much there. The last time I was there I bought some DVDS, and a tea light candle holder.

I am deeply disappointed with the management at this thrift store, specifically the manager, Sharon. Today, I witnessed yet another unpleasant encounter where Sharon unfairly kicked out a customer for merely opening a box to check its contents. This isn't the first time I have overheard her speaking disrespectfully to customers on the floor.
On previous occasions, I've seen her berate elderly shoppers. One instance involved a frail woman who was simply examining a damaged box of glasses. Sharon accused her of trying to steal, loudly shouting across the store, "Hey cashier, if you were in Walmart, would you be opening boxes?" and "Unbelievable the nerve of some women to come in here and think they can just do stuff like that." The elderly woman left visibly shaken.
In another incident, a quiet woman of color was browsing for trinkets. Sharon immediately started making discriminatory remarks, telling the cashier, "Blacks always steal." She accused the woman of stealing when she was merely checking the condition of the items she wanted to buy. Sharon then used the loudspeaker to announce, "Theft alert, security scan all cameras!" causing further distress to the shopper.
Sharon's behavior is unhinged and undermines the mission of this store. I will no longer support this location, as I have never encountered such treatment at the Latham, Clifton Park, or Scotia stores. I urge corporate to investigate this matter and take appropriate action.

The conduct of the woman manager and some of the younger employees is utterly disrespectful. The stores managers behavior towards customers is extremely unprofessional, characterized by rudeness and judgment. On multiple occasions, she has openly discussed customers and myself in a derogatory manner. She doesn’t even hide the fact.
While personal feelings are understandable, respect for customers should be a priority.
It has come to my attention that this manager has been transferred between various locations, which suggests an ongoing issue. I urge corporate management to address this matter promptly and ensure a more respectful and professional environment in your stores.

Fairly good selection overall. Floors and changing rooms are pretty dirty. Large selection of glassware. Prices are $2-$12 for most clothes. Will definitely come by again!

If you know Zara they are having a sale where the prices are even lower for brand new unworn items so why rip off customers at your store? This Salvation Army is tripling the prices for Zara items. If all your prices are set based on what they are.. why are you changing them?Plato’s closet is down the road for cheaper and the management team speaks to you beautifully.I don’t believe the customer is always right, but talking about a customer indirectly to another employee while they are standing there is unprofessional and rolling your eyes at the person shows how your managers need to improve their social and management skills. The manager Sharon should be demoted for her nasty attitude with people who are clearly spending $$$ at your store.Get. A. New. Job. that doesn’t involve people if you’re not a people person. If Sharon was having a bad day I’m sorry, but please stop taking it out on the customers and God Bless you may god be with you during your difficult days.
