Spent an hour and a half and 65$ to get square extensions. They are cakey and uneven. My thumbs hurt.

While the exceptional pedicure provided by a young male nail tech was greatly appreciated, aspects of my interaction with the receptionist/manager were very disappointing.
My visit began pleasantly, with a warm greeting and offer of water. However, my request for a basic pedicure due to time limitations resulted in a discernible shift in the receptionist's attitude. This reaction to a straightforward service request felt unprofessional and detracted from the initially positive experience. She then said it will be an extra $5 for nail polish which I understood. I then felt very uncomfortable and no longer welcomed since I wasn’t getting the over the top pedicure on her menu.
I also observed the manager and staff frequently transitioning to their native language during discussions concerning client details and financial transactions. While I acknowledge the use of one's native tongue in private conversations, this practice fostered a sense of exclusion and lack of transparency for clients. Maintaining English for all client-facing interactions would significantly enhance the inclusivity and professional image of the establishment.
Despite the less than satisfactory experience with the receptionist, the only reason for a future visit would be the costumer service from the nail tech.

My wife and I went here super close to closing and they were able to service us despite being close to closing. We both got deluxe pedicures and the experience was amazing. I appreciate the kindness and expertise in which the staff showed. I highly recommend this place.

Fabulous experience! Took my girl to get the nail art last week, the workers were so kind, professional, and were very polite. The whole environment felt very comfortable and clean! It was one of the best experience and the best nail salon in the Albany region!!! I will definitely come back again.

Here goes my first ever negative review! As a small business owner, this pains me to write, but I want everyone to think twice about coming here!!
I called today an hour before closing because I had broken a toenail and live too far from my usual salon. I asked for a pedicure and said I know it’s late, but I live up the road and can be there in a few minutes. (I was extremely appreciative that they took me so close to closing.)
I chose the most basic pedicure in hopes the staff could get out of work on time. I asked for acrylic on the broken toe and the rest just a regular gel pedicure. I also asked for no scrub because I have sensitive legs.
While the lady was working on my pedicure, she cut me many times on my skin then cut another toe with her file drill. So she had to put acrylic on that too. She ended up switching with another lady who put scrub on my legs. (In her defense i’m sure the other lady didn’t tell her that I didn’t want it.) She finished the pedicure and did an ok job. Definitely not great but it was better than walking around with a broken toe nail.
The lady at the counter (who I think was an owner or management) told me $65. I asked very kindly to break down the price for me and she told me the pedicure price+ gel price (reasonable) then $5 per acrylic toe. I only came in for one acrylic toe. The tech broke my other nail so I don’t see why I had to pay $5 for her to fix her own mistake. I only had $70 cash on me and I wanted to tip $10 like I always do so I asked to pay in card then tip in cash. When I handed her the $10 and asked her to give it to the person who did my pedicure she reached for my hand and ASKED ME FOR MORE TIP and said “you had two people. ONLY $10?” I said “yes, only $10. You can give it to the lady who did the actual pedicure or they can split it.” This is ridicules for three reasons…. 1- you don’t ASK for MORE tip. 2- I am not tipping EXTRA money if two people split the same service… I didn’t get more service done. 3- I don’t see a need to tip the lady who took my nail polish off and broke my nail then got up and passed the service on to someone else. They can split the tip if that’s how they do it.
I’ve had many bad nail services but never an experience like this and like I said before, never have I ever written a negative review.
