Whitney Book Corner is a cozy and welcoming used bookstore with a very reasonable selection. It offers a wide and huge variety of books to choose from at excellent prices, including hardcovers, paperbacks, and small paper covers. The atmosphere is cute and the store is clean and neat, though very small. The volunteer staff is always nice, friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and marvelously helpful. They are ready with book recommendations. A fun and special feature is the "blind date with a book," where wrapped books are described by genre. All proceeds support the local public library. The store has relocated to 105 Clinton Street in Schenectady, just across from the library. It is a wonderful place to visit and a gem for obtaining books without breaking the bank, highly recommended for all readers.

Such a cute gem!!! I love books, libraries, and could generally be called a bibliophile. For my recent wedding, we used old books as center pieces. The volunteer staff here was amazingly helpful in this process and made it even more fun and special.

Wonderful place to visit. The personnel are marvelous. Wonderful selection of books of many different varieties. Reasonably priced.
