The starter on my girlfriend’s car went kaput last week. She had only just the week before had to have the clutch repaired, so there wasn’t a lot of money left for a new starter and she absolutely needed it fixed asap. No place nearby had one in stockI had used Xcel probably about 25 years ago for an alternator, so I brought it there.They didn’t have one either, but he offered to rebuild it and had it done within a couple hours. (Much cheaper than a remanufactured one at any of the big auto parts chains would have cost me,btw)I got it home and installed before my gal got home from work.Thank you Xcel, you made me the hero of the day!

I'm a life-long resident of Schenectady, used Xcel Auto several times, never disappointed. They sell quality rebuilt starters and alternators, wouldn't go any place else for one.

Great service, "Xcel"ent work, and Xceptional customer service. Don't buy new parts, when you can have them rebuilt!!!! Save some money and go see these guys. They are Xtremely knowledgeable and skilled.
Update. Needed to order parts for a starter, next day Bamalam! And he even showed me how to fix it right in front of me, less than 5 minutes. Why would anyone go anywhere else?? ??????
