Sunoco Gas Station is a convenient location, especially as the only gas station open after 12am near this highway. Even when the store is closed and lights are off, the pumps still work well for gas, and there is a charging station for electric vehicles. One specific pump accepts credit cards all night. The service can be great, with staff going out of their way to help. However, the interior has a constantly funky smell, and washrooms are for emergency only. The pump worked well. Easy in and out, but when I checked the Internet earlier, it said regular was $3.96 but $3.93 when I got there. Sad, but I drove past the station in Schroon Lake. The price was $3.97.

Great service. There was no coffee when we arrived in need of coffee and he made a fresh pot while we waited. And was short some money to get the two snacks I wanted and he graciously adjusted prices to meet the amount of cash I had on hand to avoid having to use a card.

Came here around 2am. Store is closed and lights to the station are turned off but you can still pump gas here.There is also charging stations here for electric vehicles.
