“Marco is the best! If you need a mortgage broker, I can't think of a better guy. Super professional and thorough. He was transparent about rates, timelines, requirements, and expectations. In fact, any issues I had were with FNBLI itself, in spite of Marco being absolutely wonderful. When I started my mortgage application, I didn't hear back from FNBLI for a week, and actually had to email them to get a follow up. The appraisers they hired and the law firm they retained were both fine. But there was definitely more back and forth/confusion than there needed to be. Even still, FNBLI had the best rates I could find, and I cannot recommend Marco enough!”

What happened to me was embarrassing, confidence shattering, and put my trust in my own decision making ability in question. Sharing my story with Michael was a great help to my overall disposition. He listened, and never judged me in any way. I felt my anxiety decrease. Michael helped me by setting my sights on the present and making necessary changes to my Flushing and other accounts. He provided me with great suggestions. Some of the suggestion included: filing a police report, file a claim with the company in question's Fraud Department, change all passwords, pay bills with credit cards, remove auto pay, lower my balances in my accounts and open a secure CD account. All of these suggestions were explained in detail and I followed much of his advice. In closing, Michael Genova gave me exemplary customer care. He is highly professional and I recommend Flushing Bank to anyone who wants individual personal care.”

“Having worked in a bank long ago and having been a call center customer service manager, I'm very exacting by nature. But I love this particular branch on 220 W. Old Country Rd, in Hicksville; I've felt happy enough to stay loyal for 25 years and it hasn't been the same branch manager the whole time. In the past decade in particular it has only gotten better with a real commitment to improvement in efficiency and customer experience. Banks are still banks, with all kinds of complex procedures, so it's all about the personnel and what kind of human interface they can provide. I'm amazed at the care they must put into the hiring or interview process to get such competent, caring people. There's not a lot of turnover, but when it does happen, each time they find a new star. Though it's not the biggest of banks, and doesn't meet every last one of my needs, they deliver a 110% effort and warmth every day.”

Both John's and the managers immediately took control of the situation and protected my account (and sanity) within seconds. They also sat me down and connected me right away with the fraud department and told me exactly what steps to take following the event. The situation was anxiety provoking but their calmness and quick action was extremely appreciated.A special shout out to John M, who took his time to give me advice on scam calls & how to always protect my account with scam calls being on the rise. He also gave great banking knowledge and advice in general that I actually had not known prior.
