The store as a whole is well stocked, well organized and has associates available to help almost all the time. The actual pharmacy does tend to have a wait BUT the pharmacists and technicians work hard. They operate like an old school pharmacy, discussing side effects and interactions when they dispense meds. They speak to people directly, and they take the time to make sure everything is correct. I have seen a lot of reviews about the staff "acting overwhelmed" but I think this might be a reflection of the general patience of this community. The staff here are gems, and there aren't many pharmacies that operate like this anymore, especially not a large company like CVS. We are lucky to have this place!

The pharmacy staff is beyond rude. They constantly appear and have an attitude as if they are SO overwhelmed even during the RARE times that you may go and there isn't a ten person line. People who use the pharmacy use it because they are not feeling well or need their medication to stay well, not to be treated poorly, spoken down to, and rushed through inquiries. Its a gross negligence for any person who chooses to be dealing with sick and vulnerable people to feel it ok to treat people the way the female pharmacist at this cvs location does. I was unable to get her name as she failed to provide it as she promptly answered the call with a "cvs, hold." I did call during a busy time of the morning, so I let the curt greeting and the 15 min wait before she picked up again go. But when she picked back up she could have not been more unpleasant or unwilling to help, in fact she was rude and condescending on top of not being helpful at all. I attempted to get her name at the end of the call, but rather than "can I help with anything else", she hung up without giving me a chance to speak. The CVS in Amityville on Montauk Hwy was far more helpful. Gabrielle, the pharmacist at that location actually went out of her way to help me figure out the issue and it was just as busy at that location at that time.

The absolute worst pharmacy department ever. I waited 10 minutes at the drive thru pick up window and there was no line. Finally the woman named Kathy got on the speaker and asked for my information. 5 minutes later she takes my prescription and literally throws them at me and storms away. The most rudest person ever I encountered going into a retail store. They gave me a 3 months supply when my account is marked 1 month only. I rang the bell and waited another 5 minutes and a different girl came to the window. It was another 10 minutes to correct the error. All in all it was 1/2 hour to pick up 1 RX. Unbelievable. So aggravated I went into the store and spoke to the pharmacist and he stated Kathy did not know it was only a 1 month supply. That wasn't the point. I had had words with Kathy and politely told her she should learn manners. She informed me that I should. Unbelievable again. The is the worst CVS ever. Poor help and can not get my RX's correct. I spoke with the customer complaint department and a area supervisor named Julia is looking into the his complaint.

Pharmacy is extremely helpful & has good hours. They are always available to answer questions, locate your script at another pharmacy if they are out. They also have a drive thru. Evening staff is the worst part of this CVS. Particularly Joann; always frantic, easily overwhelmed, very condescending to customers. She has been there for years and is truly a nightmare to encounter. Day staff is accommodating & friendly. Will never ever shop/return/stay in the store while Joann is working again. Manager witnessed her exasperation over a minor thing & did not seem phased by her behavior. Parking lot is spacious & there is parking on Merrick Road. Store is conveniently located one block from Seaford Oyster Bay.

This Is Without a Doubt, & probably by Far One Of The Worst CVS On Long Island, No Joke!......I Was Literally Online for Just About Half Hour & Then I Finally Pull Up to The Drive through Window After "30 Minutes" Waite time!.... As I'm Pulling Up I Can See that The Women Sees Me too As they put up the Sign Saying they Were Closed!.............The Staff Member Was a Women, Couldn't Really See OR Get Her Name On Shirt but She Responded With An Attitude & then Gives Me the Opposite of. Being Genuine As She Walks Away $ Says a phony I'm Sorry!......Meanwhile She Never Even took Into Consideration That I Had Patiently Just Waited for A Half Hour Online As a Customer & Was the Last Car In Line Mind you too!........How the Heck Are You Going to Say Sorry & Turn Away a Customer!................ " Terrible Customer Service "Out Of All the Cvs I Have Gone to throughout the Years!

This store is always a mess. It's more like an expensive dollar store. Their prices have gone through the roof. I used to go there all the time when prices were decent. Now I don't step foot there unless it's an emergency purchase. Parking lot filthy too.

The f****** nerve!!

Great selection and friendly staff. I took my son to get a COVID vaccine but for some reason, my online registration did not go through. Pharmacy staff was very friendly and accommodating- and vaccinated him anyway. I truly appreciate the flexibility and customer service.

Crowded store and employee doesn't wear mask. Blowing her nose and coughing. I was in there for 20 minutes, she didn't have a mask on at any point

This store is always a mess inside. Prices are high. And the pharmacy is very poor. The drive through will literally make you wait In your car 25 minutes while you watch a clerk handle people inside. Totally unacceptable. If you complain to a young female, they get all flustered. Little miss cutesy tells you that your 3 month supply of eye drops is $109 and " lets cross our fingers that it's lower" when it has been $10 for years of going there!! Can't they see on their computer that you've been a customer for years? Service and prices matter!! I think that this "pharmacy" is more concerned with selling orange soda, potato chips, candy and high priced greeting cards than providing prescription medications!! Another problem is the CVS ATM's are often compromised with card readers which enable thieves to steal your $/info. Managers do not care because the machines arent "owned" by CVS. We have been compromised twice! When I called about a flu shot months ago, I was told that I should not come in as they had no one to administer it!!! We are re-evaluating our use of poor companies- businesses daily. In doing so, we are switching out the use of our dollars to more deserving places. Dry cleaners, nail salons, barbers, pharmacies, food stores, internet/entertainment and cell providers etc. Change your buying habits and store loyalty when you need to!! Start with CVS!!

I can only speak on the pharmacy department, my 81 year old mother was called and convinced to move her prescriptions to CVS from the 2 small "mom and pop" Pharmacies she had been using for 30 years . When only her second prescription was sent there she was told her insurance wouldn't pay for it. When she asked how much she was told (no misprint here) $5000 for 90 generic ativans. This is not an exaggeration ,call yourself and check my story. BUT other than the RX dept. the rest of the store is where I go for almost all of my vitamin and various healthcare products, in this they are great..
