My first impression of this place was that it was probably just a knock off of Katz. That was until today when I tried the Abe Sandwich which had almost a pound of pastrami in it. I have to say, the pastrami was very tasty/flavorful, so much so that I have to concede in that the pastrami was about as good as I remember the pastrami at Katz being. It was a pricey sandwich, about $25 so only a few bucks cheaper than Katz but the sandwich actually exceeded what I was expecting for a small hole in the wall shop. I asked for mustard on the sandwich and was happy to see that they put mustard on the sandwich but also on the side in a cup as well. I ordered online so by the time I showed up 20 minutes later, I just had to walk in and grab my food. Woman at the front was very friendly, I'll most definitely be back.

Oh yeah! Sure; the place is small, the parking seems to be on-street only, but it's all worth the effort. Great pastrami and the chopped liver was among the best I've ever had (and I was born in Brooklyn!). Start with some coleslaw and pickles, then get ready for some fine deli... Just a third of a mile east of the S.O.B. (Rt 135) on Merrick Rd and well worth a short detour. This little pace will be on my rotation going forward. All cards, closed Monday's (but I'm over that already : )

Quality meats, freshly steamed, never dry. The pastrami croquets are my favorite small bites. They hit the spot

Best Pastrami I have had in years, and much cheaper than delis in the city. Even though they have signs apologizing for a recent increase in prices. Pastrami is hot and fresh and not fatty, and not at all salty. Employees are friendly. I never thought I would like pastrami that was not Kosher, but boy was I wrong. Very delicious. Don’t forget to ask for sour pickles.

The food and service were excellent! After moving to Nassau after many years in NYC we were looking for a good kosher style deli and found a keeper!

The pastrami was delicious, a bit busy for dining in. The place is small but comfortable. Their specialty is more a take out place. The service was OK. The server was overwhelmed by the number of people dining in. That's the reason why I gave them a 4 oppose to 5

Matzo bowl soup came with a hair in it. (Dark hair I’m blonde). Soup is good otherwise but won’t come back bc I’m grossed out. Also, $15 for a soup is kinda crazy imo.
