Subject: Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service at 3575 Merrick Road Seaford, NY 11783-2850
Seaford USPS Customer Service,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the customer service I received at the 3575 Merrick Road Seaford, NY 11783-2850. During my visit, I asked a customer service agent for assistance in determining how many stamps I would need to affix to a return envelope containing 4 pieces of 8 1/2 x 11-inch documents. Unfortunately, the agent ignored my question without providing any assistance.
As a USPS employee, it is your responsibility to be knowledgeable about postal services and provide accurate information when requested. Ignoring a customer's question is not acceptable, especially when it is related to your core services.
If you don’t want to do your job, why don’t you consider working in the private sector where customer service might not be as integral to your duties? The lack of customer service I encountered during this visit is concerning and highlights why many customers may turn to alternative services. Customer service is a crucial aspect of your job and directly impacts the reputation and reliability of USPS. I hope this matter is addressed so that future customers do not face the same disappointing experience.
I expect better attention to customer needs and more professionalism in the future.

As another poster said, they never answer the phone anymore, doesn't matter what day or time of day. That's a surefire way to turn a quick, two minute question into some frustrated person coming to the post office in person and causing a scene.

This post office never answers their phone. I am always disconnected. I do not get mail at this address and they left a package on my porch. The postal police cannot even reach them. This federal agency is a disgrace.

I’ve been trying to retrieve a package of mine that they delivered to an address that doesn’t exist. After many unanswered calls and even after filing a service request and doing everything right according to the us postal service I received no response. Selden post office also reached out and received no response. I finally got someone to answer who wasn’t particularly nice and had no idea what a service request was, she said the address did not exist and she thinks it was scanned delivered accidentally and supervisor would call me the next day and he never did. I’ve tried several more times to call and no one ever answers the phone. I still have no idea where my package is and no answers.
