I brought my car in to have my tire plugged, I had a screw in it. The gentleman that was helping me add very kind at first. They took my car back and then called me in to look at my tire, he told me that it couldn't be patched and that i needed 4 new tires. I told him no thank you and his whole attitude changed. I left there went to the tire place up the road and they had no problem plugging the hole for me and told me my tires were fine and there was no need for new ones. I will not use mavis again.

Quick and easy service, plugged two flat tires in no time at all. Eric at the front desk is awesome and always straightforward
Edit 6/23/25 - Don’t bother, they got rid of the entire old team, changed management and it’s a completely different shop now. Eric and co are gone and they just waste your time and try to sell you stuff you don’t need. Tell you they’ll order what you need it’ll be a couple days, never call saying it’s there and when you follow up they say they have no record of anything. Save yourself the time and frustration and go elsewhere.

The guys over in selden Mavis took care of my car with respect got me in quickly and let me know everything that was recommended for my car in a timely fashion and got my oil changed quick definitely recommend going here

I have been going to this Mavis for the past 3 years and they used to be great, very punctual and have done the right thing. The past 2 times I’ve brought my cars in it has been a less than great experience, and seems to be going downhill. The upsell tactics, lack of scheduling and knowledge base of employees has been disappointing. Unfortunately they have lost me as a customer.

They diagnosed a tricky problem in a very short period of time. The part that was needed was in stock & installed perfectly. I was in & out in about half an hour. Pat and Mike consistently provide exceptional service! My 2003 Toyota Corolla -271k miles—had a sudden power steering issue. Hoses were leaking. Parts ordered, quickly received, and installed.
