Stride Rite is a family operated and independently owned business that has been serving Long Island families since 1986. It is one of the last remaining Stride Rite stores on Long Island. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and provides great service with a smile, often giving children a balloon. They offer excellent fitting for children's shoes, including for toddlers and first walkers, ensuring proper and supportive fits. The store has a good selection of boots, sneakers, and socks. Parents find the experience wonderful and highly recommend it for children's shoes, noting the staff's understanding of what both kids and parents need. While some find the shoes a bit pricey, customers are happy to get properly fitting and supportive footwear.
Richard and his entire staff ALWAYS go out of their way to find the perfect shoe for my children for every day and special occasions and every season. They are all amazing with children and really care about their comfort. If you haven’t shopped there, I encourage you to do so!!
