We took our 93 year old mother to get her passport renewed..she is in a wheelchair and is not well. I made the appointment specifically to make things easier for her .
The clerk at the USPS in Seden lhad no compassion for her situation.
She was so rude . It is appalling what disrespect was displayed for a senior citizen that just needed a little extra help.

Rude staff members that have no idea how to explain anything. The supervisor is even worse and had to ask a clerk to explain things he couldn’t. They never for once mentioned that there are specific stamps for non machinable surcharges and rudely asked my fiancée to double stamp them and kept sighing throughout. Will be filing a complaint.

The clerks need to learn to have basic human decency and at least even attempt to explain things without sassing the customers and sighing as they talk. Do your job, you don’t get to behave like that.

The lady at the counter was very rude and had no patience. She also pressed the green “very satisfied” button on the card machine when it asked me how satisfied I was with the service?

Do not go here for Passport services. The staff will do anything but help you even if you made an appointment. You wait on the line but by the time you reach the desk its 5 minutes after your appointment and they tell you to reschedule your appointment.

On 3/28/25, I brought in a package labeled and prepaid through eBay, using USPS Priority Mail with cubic pricing. The label was automatically generated via eBay’s integrated shipping platform, which partners with Pitney Bowes to determine pricing based on provided dimensions. Upon presenting the package, an employee named Tom marked the label as “Too big for cubic pricing” without offering any explanation or guidance.
When I asked him to explain what was wrong with the label or how to correct the issue, Tom simply restated that the label was invalid. There was no effort made to clarify the mistake or suggest possible solutions, such as voiding and reprinting the label with the correct dimensions and pricing tier. As a customer, I expect professionalism and clarity—especially for services like cubic pricing, which are not widely understood by the public and are often calculated automatically through third-party platforms like eBay.
Additionally, when I asked Tom for his name, he was at first reluctant to provide it, which was concerning as USPS employees are expected to identify themselves when requested. After I repeated my request, he finally said his name was Tom and followed it with the comment: “Do the right thing.” The tone of this statement came across as dismissive and unhelpful, as if implying wrongdoing on my part despite my genuine effort to follow standard shipping procedures.
After researching on my own, I learned that the package likely exceeded the maximum dimensions for the cubic pricing tier, which I would have gladly corrected if given the opportunity. Instead, I was left confused and unsupported in resolving the matter.
I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve customer service standards at your facility. A few moments of explanation and professionalism can go a long way toward building trust and understanding with customers. I also hope steps are taken to ensure all USPS employees identify themselves respectfully and represent the service with courtesy and integrity.

I am writing a review simply because this is a post office and many reviews are missing the mark. This location is great, Chris and Michael are very polite and courteous! Sometimes there is a line, which is inevitable, also it stinks to have to wait a while to buy a book of stamps but I’ve adjusted and typically buy 2-3 of them at a time.
The space is always clean, they have plenty of other items in stock and my mail has never suffered delays or being lost! Again, it’s a post office, given the major macro changes in their governing bodies, perhaps any complaints should be sent there as they may help the staff who are dealing with much uncertainty.

My 20 year old daughter went in to renew her passport or get a new one they turned her away and said you need your mom. My daughter was like why I am an adult. Awful customer service not knowledgeable at all. She went to a different location

Great service & staff. They helped me find the right size package and took care of me quick and easy. And this was during the month of December, which can be the worst time to visit USPS. Thank you!

2 packages in a week show as delivered to individual, on days I was handed the mail from the carrier, never received. They tell me to go to the office, at the office they say there is nothing they can do about it. Their tracking means nothing. Use a service that will take a picture of delivery for proof.

Today's visit to the post office left me seething with frustration. Despite arriving half an hour before my appointment, the woman behind the counter was dismissive and abrupt, insisting that she had already processed two passports for the day and couldn't assist me. Her lack of empathy and adherence to some arbitrary quota left me feeling utterly disrespected and inconvenienced. It's appalling that such bureaucratic nonsense takes precedence over providing basic customer service.

My wife and I normally like this post office. Chris is absolutely awesome! He is friendly and efficient.
HOWEVER!!!! Today I was blown away by the service we received from Tom. I did not mind that he was unfriendly but when he finished, he told me the price without asking if I needed anything else. (I’m surprised because they always offer you stamps. lol)
I paid and said “I also need a book of stamps please.”
Tom says “One transaction per customer, you need to go to the end of the line.”
I laughed because I literally thought that he was joking. He was not joking!
