“I have been a customer of Smitty’s Garage for years and have always been very satisfied with their service. Several months ago, I had a new set of front brake rotors and pads installed on my Ford Explorer to address a steering wheel shaking problem when braking. Recently, I started hearing some brake squeaking and brought the car back in.
Keith, the owner, spent a great deal of time test-driving my car and trying to reproduce the problem. I was kept well informed throughout the process. I was worried that I might need to spend a lot of money replacing the calipers, but Keith carefully inspected the issue and told me he did not think the calipers were the problem.
He spent the afternoon identifying and fixing the issue by replacing the brake clips, and he did not charge me anything. The staff also told me to let them know if I experienced any further problems.
I really appreciate their professionalism, honesty, and willingness to stand behind their work. I highly recommend Smitty’s Garage.”

“I stopped in one day because my tired pressure was very low. They helped me fill it with air and offered to check it out for me. No was pressed for time. I offered them money for their help but they refused. Two days later, I stopped in again because my pressure was low again. It was clear they were busy, but they checked out my tire and plugged a nail hole. I was so thankful. I didn't have any cash on me and they said I could bring it to them later. I COMPLETELY FORGOT! When I finally remembered, they were so gracious. I felt terrible and they were telling me not to worry.”
“My family and I have brought our cars to SBG for many years. Staffs are friendly and personable. They usually have availabilities when we call. Prices are reasonable and they work with you. Yesterday I brought my car in because the wiper was not working. Brock found the left ball joint was not installed properly and noticed a bubble in the rear tire. The ball joints were done by Honda Manhasset dealership last month (total cost $2000) and the bubble was not caught by Mobile shop that did the NYS inspection last week. Aside from the money and time spent, very disheartening to learn how irresponsible people can be and do such messy jobs without considering potential consequences. Serious car accidents could have occurred. Brock and his team went and fixed these problems. Glad to know shops like SBG are around.”

He helped arrange a rental car, kept me informed throughout the repair process, and worked directly with my insurance company, which made the entire experience much less stressful.
