I have been coming here for years because Marisol is the absolute best hair stylist in the world. She takes the time to get to know her clients, their lifestyles, and is honest about what would and wouldn’t look good. She’s so passionate about what she does & genuinely wants to make her clients feel beautiful.. she’ll never do something that she know wouldn’t look right. She is a breath of fresh air, insanely talented & loves to make you look stunning!!
The front desk staff are the kindest people ever, always smiling and complimenting you & again showing that they care.
The salon is clean & well kept.🩷🩷
If you want beautiful hair, look no furth than marisol!!

Amazing experience here, for a blow out and trim I made appointment that same day and I was so So blown away. My hair is very long and extra curly and Gab took such time and care with my hair, knowing it was humid out they went above and beyond to protect and use products that would fight the humidity- lasted me 5 days
I was won over fully!! Regardless of the hair cut The calm atmosphere and their personality was enough to get me back in!

I had an appointment with Marisol on December 30th, 2024 and had an amazing experience! I am letting my grays grow out and was very happy to not be questioned about it but instead Marisol gave me the absolute best hair cut I’ve ever had! My hair is extremely thick and is never cut fully straight as I’ve never found the right professional until now
At this point for me, the price didn’t even matter as my hair is very important but I believe it was slightly under $100 with tip. I would recommend this salon to anyone, the restroom was also clean and pretty and location is close to other shops and stores. I will be going back in May for a trim 💇🏻♀️

Had my hair cut and colored by Gab. She always does a great job. She takes her time and makes sure everything looks perfect. She’s very professional and friendly. Thank you Gab!

All there good stylist left and started there own business. Definitely don’t recommend coming here, NYC prices for fresh out of school stylist quality.

I’ve been a loyal client to Serenity Hair Salon for a few years . I had an appointment scheduled with Ariana on April 5th for a Balayage . Upon arrival I showed a picture of what I wanted (1st picture ) She said that we could achieve that , if it wasn’t possible that I would have needed 2 sessions I should have Been informed . She said they used a lower bleach I knew from there my hair was not gonna lift . After the bleaching was done and washed out Ariana pointed out that my hair lifted warmer than expected. From that point I was extremely anxious . My hair turned out very orange , brassy , and both sides of my hair were completely different tones of orange (2nd Picture )I had asked Ariana when I could have it done again and she told me I couldn’t have it done anytime soon . That a shimmer would be my only option ) Mind you I was getting my hair done for an event I was going too . When I got to the front desk I was charged $475 I was in complete shock . They raised their prices and I was never informed . They say I was emailed but when I spoke to the front desk they didn’t even have a email on file . They don’t list their prices on the website nor in the salon which is a NYS requirement. After my service I texted them and found out I was overcharged $30 when I know for sure I was overcharged more . A week later I had decided to go to another salon and turned out I needed a color correction , $300 later they were able to achieve the results I wanted in the first place.My Hair is still completely healthy now and looks amazing . The next pictures are what my hair looked like one week later , very upsetting for $475 . When I made the salon aware of what happened they refused my refund .My current salon was In shock that I paid for that coloring . They just recently had 4 of there own hair colorist leave including the owners daughter , (that says a lot ) so they are trying to make up for that with their crazy prices . I was told that it some girls lost good clients due to the owner hiking the price even though they were given a price by their hair stylist .These girls that left have some terrible stories of what happen. Don’t go here unless you wanna be charged a crazy amount and leave unhappy . It’s not fair !!!!

Love this salon. Great cut and the hairstylist really listened to what I wanted. I asked her to give me an easy to style cut that frames my face and she did an amazing job. Arianna is highly recommended and I will be back!!

Onicka Bustamante did a color correction from another salon. Yesterday I had my appointment for a touchup, low light, adding some brightness to the front and a glaze. She was so wonderful and communicating with me and making me feel so comfortable.The color came out absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the salon for many reasons, but mainly Onicka! She is great listener, very kind and so talented! The Salon is clean and the staff is very friendly. I’m sure all the hairdressers a great. amazing. I highly recommend this salon.Services: Blowouts

Ashley did a wonderful job cutting my hair! I’m always so unsure of what would look good for my face type but she was able to guide me through it and help me decide what I want! Absolutely recommend Ashley.

I've gone there twice. They do great hair but they're too expensive. They also entice you to get extra things done to your hair. When I tried to call to set up the 2nd appt, I called a different Salon by accident. I should've just made an appt with the accidental Salon. Sorry definitely not going back.
