Charged me $70.12 to change a battery! The battery only cost $15 but he charged me $40 shipping, a service charge of $10, and tax of $5.20. Did the same thing to a friend of mine with a family heirloom. None of this was agreed at the outset. I asked for proof that the shipping of a small ladies watch cost $40 and why I owed him $10 since he did nothing but got nowhere. Had to present the money in a lawyers office to get my watch back. I have the paperwork if anyone wants to see. I am going to Cazanovia Jewelry now.

I can not speak highly enough about Sherburne Jewlers. I lost the diamond out of one of my rings, and decided to have the prongs checked on the other. They suggested that we put new heads on both since 3 of the prongs were broken off of the other ring. I was called with an estimate after less than a week and they were finished in 9 days. Both are over a quarter of a century old, and look brand new. The service, quality and price were all great. I highly suggest you go there if you have any jewelry needs.
