Then our hours will resume as Friday and Saturdays 10-3:00 in March. ~Thursday April 3, 2025 we will open Thursday thru Sat 10-3. ~ Visit our website to book a future retreat weekend. Your host, Judy and Jeff Fenton, along with daughter Megan, have been restoring this 1900's dairy barn for 28 years. As a retail sewing and fabric store owner, it has been Judy's dream to someday convert the barn into "Needle in a Haystack"! Needle in a Haystack Retreat is just that! A beautiful, workshop-retreat haven for quilters, or scrap bookers.

We had an amazing retreat! Judy, Jeff, and their staff are awesome hosts! The accommodations were clean, comfy and homey. There are gorgeous quilts all over the property. The shop has the most beautiful fabrics and gave us something to do when we needed a stretch break. The food was delicious too!

This place is incredible! The staff are so kind, patient and helpful. They have quilt retreats quite often. I didn't participate in the retreat but my husband talked to some ladies that were there for the retreat. The ladies raved about it! I would like to go back with a friend for a retreat.

This was the most comfortable, well equipment and hospitable retreat I've ever been to. Judy is a great host and Jeff has created a true slice of paradise. Every detail tells you to make yourself at home and get creative!
