“The bank of America in Shirley has continuously provided excellent customer service and has been very helpful as far as my personal as well as business banking needs have been concerned. Joe and Alicia particularly stand out as excellent representatives of the establishment.”
“I’ve been working with them for years now. I’ve only had one problem. They corrected it fixed it and did not charge me for it. It was a car loan and when I bought my second car loan, they changed the numbers instead of just let me pay how I normally pay so their payment was in there. They could see it was in there. They just didn’t take it because it was now a new number.”
“We've been banking with one form of this bank for many years. Originally joined as CFS Bank, changed to NYCB and now flagstar. Everyone who works here is great. Good rates on CD's and saving accounts.”
“Aside from recent 3rd party that caused diverse serious issues even lawsuits, the Tellers and employees are very helpful and nice. Sadly this bank is nowhere where it was not long ago. For example,no more financial advisors. Overall it's still a decent bank, but switched for my reasons.”
“every visit here is smoother than my freshly shaven head. TFCU is the way to go with all types of banking! the customer service reps/teller are knowledgable and work around very well with all types of questions/inquiries. they are always there to help you no matter what. their fraud protection system is GREAT! you get a call or text immediately before the 'unusual' transaction even proceeds. and right away they will help you recover your account if hacking is detected. shout out to teachers. best bank i ever joined.”

“I moved to Suffolk county about 2 years ago, after banking with Flushing for years, in Flushing Queens, (Auburndale branch, now closed). To be honest, I started banking with them because that branch opened literally 4 doors away from my parents' house, and being a minor at the time, my dad opened accounts for the family for convenience sake, (he could walk me to deposit allowance, baby-sitting money, etc). Except for the years I lived out of state, I have been with them since, and glad for it.
I have had more than a few banking 'issues' in the last few years, with the death of my mom, the relocation, etc and I must say, the service at the bank, particularly here in Shirley, LI , but also in Flushing has been exceptional. I wish I could remember the names of the Flushing folks, but here in LI, I would be truely remiss if I didn't mention Diane by name. To be honest, at this point, she feels like family. Whether it has been helping me send money to my son in Wa. State for the purchase of his first home, or dealing with the joint accounts of my now deceased parents, she has ALWAYS been extremely professional, while still being a relatable human being, capable of celebrating (&almost crying with you). In one instance when the bank mailed documents to the wrong address, I made numerous phone calls, until she finally gave me the honest, ' we really screwed this up & I'm so sorry. That was really all it took, but when do you actually hear that from a service rep!
In all, if you open a acct there, take a minute to look around, say hello to the bankers & let them know who you are. You will find, they will go out of their way to help you, in any way they can. I even got a FOLLOW UP call, a week or so after the incident with the missing documents, from Diane, to ensure I had received them & that everything had worked out OK. I was so pleasantly shocked, I swore to myself I would write this review & today, months later, after she has helped me again with a deposit issue, I am finally writing the review. Sorry it took so long, but FSB is doing something right in both their training & in finding and hiring the right people. Thank you for your efforts. (And just as I side note), I AM NOT a wealthy woman. They are definitely not kissing a... for the money!”
