It took me two yrs. To get a very exspensive out door table and swivel chairs delivered. I paid delivery. The store was blaming the manufacturer and the manufacturer was blaming the store. I had no way to get it myself. They thought it was a big game they then delivered a set with 3 chairs missing. The driver would not take the set back. And took off. After more time waiting and more of the same blame game. Finally I found someone to return the set with missing chairs. Get another set. That set was missing screws. I will never order or go to Homedepot. Or Order another. Hanover. Product! That was the worst nightmare of my life! Learn from me! Go to Lowe's!Deborah Hanlon

Was here today at the Shirley store to pick up 6 various items that fit in my shopping cart.As I got on a short line at self checkout, I had Mary ask me if she could help with scanning so I said sure.By the time she was done I had my card ready to swipe and was on my way in no time.I noticed she was doing that with other customers which showed she cared enough about helping move the line and not just watching like you see in other stores.Nice experience at the self checkout!

Went in for a rental. Smooth sailing. Was out in no time. Wish I had the gentleman's name who assisted with the truck rental process for he was extremely polite as well. The return took all of about 5 minutes. Very quick.

Absolutely worthless employees working in the lumber department during the evening of April 22nd, 2022. Could not be bothered to help a customer with a sale. Had a few basic lumber questions and they couldn't even muster up a half helpful response. Walked out without purchasing anything because of them.

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or something said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

Waiting 2 weeks for an order to be shipped to the store for pick up. Alerts say it was delivered, but store can't seem to locate it. Ridiculous. I wanted to avoid the big "A" and shop local...silly me.

This place has to be the lowest of the low. I had put many applications in for different positions and done it since. Makes me feel like they could be racist towards Hispanics. Because I am a Latin American but everytime I put down I'm latino I get no calls. But I will never again apply for this location not the first time home depot has let me down from customer experience. But I will never ever work for any of these hone depot people. Mastic beach/Shirley is one of the most racist places to live on long island. Even the schools are bad.

Home Depot in Mastic NY , Great location but employees suck turtle a*** I went there looking for a refrigerator, found one and talked to a young employee that went off to find someone that might be able to help me and never came back , two other dudes walked past me waiting there like they were going to chill someplace behind the bushes in gardening, another employee walked by counting sheep in his head or something else not related to what I was there for, IDK must be corporate stock holders in the company I guess?
