“I have my wedding here on 9.7.2024 and it was the most magical day ever. The venue itself was the perfect size and most beautiful view+indoors i could ask for. They truly made my day special. They let us come the night before to set up early but be aware they only give you 2 hrs. Otherwise everything went very smooth. I also love that they allow your own catering! We had hired cow palace to come in and it was so special. Most LI venues make you go through their own venders. Thank you again for making my day so special and providing us with a great venue we will look back on for the rest of our lives!”

“Canine Companions is the premier organization providing service dogs to people with disabilities other than blindness. Their dogs are amazing! They create independence, confidence and hope for thousands of individuals in the United States and their families. I know, because I have had three service dogs from Canine Companions. My latest service dog, Delbert, will be retiring soon see pictures on this review. He is supersmart, loyal and creates a I space for me to be as independent as possible without having to call for others to assist me, as did my other two service dogs, Tess and Janus.

Unlike many other organizations this one does not charge for a service dog once you are approved and go through the process of certification. Individuals and their families who apply and get accepted to the program will spend two weeks (depending on the program's parameters) in the training facility based on their
geographic region or specific dog they are applying for, i.e., dogs for individuals with hearing impairments.

The staff are truly professional they devote their lives and care about every individual dog and the person they are matched with. I have been with this organization for over 30 years and I can tell you from personal experience that I have never seen the more devoted group of individuals. I have seen the growth in the program and training and I have never seen a decline in the quality of dogs or training personnel.

Another plus, is the fact that I get to meet the puppy raisers and stay in touch with them if I wish. I always had great experiences with them and have maintained lifelong relationships with these selfless people. If you are considering getting a service animal, whether you are a veteran, a family of an individual with an intellectual or developmental disability, someone who is deaf or hard of hearing or an individual with a physical disability, consider, Canine Companions. They are a professional organization that creates independence for people with disability every single day.”

“We just had my daughter's sweet 16 party and the venue was absolutely beautiful, my guests raved about the warm and cozy atmosphere and the layout is fantastic for parties (e.g. separate room for food service, bar, entry area, decks). The twinkle lights on the ceiling give such a magical effect for pictures and renting the upstairs sweet was such a hit for my daughter and her court. Caitlin the manager was professional and very easy to reach for any questions we had. I highly recommend it as a unique and beautiful venue for your party.”
