No registers open except self check out, and the person attending the self checkout was very nice but was so overwhelmed with every self checkout have a problem at the same time. Shame on such a huge corporation like acme to only overwhelm and overuse one employee to save money. Won't be returning.

Like the store and the hours. Always jumping in and picking up odds and ends during the week. I see some people complaining about the employees but like anything else sometimes teenagers can be a little bit stand offish. That's not unique to just them. Otherwise all the other employees are good.

If I could give no stars, I would. I have seen this store be sneaky about their “sell by dates”. They once put a new sticker over an old sticker on a piece of meat (pic attached).Then tonight I was done making my soup when I added in the evaporated milk to finish it off. When I added the milk I noticed it had a weird smell and color. I decided to check the expiration and sure enough, it had a best by date of almost 5 months ago. We went back to the store where we were issued a refund. Before we asked for a refund, we went back to the shelves and found FOUR more old evaporated milks. I can’t imagine how many other expired things are hanging out in this store.The manager never apologized and was actually defensive. It’s a shame that this store doesn’t do better.Someone can get extremely sick (I am pregnant and I don’t even want to know what would have happened if I had BROWN evaporated milk).Such a shame that the management takes ZERO accountability. All that she needed to do was say sorry and I probably wouldn’t be writing this review right now. I will never go back to this store and I will make sure I spread this information on every site I can get my hands on- including the health department.

Count less times I have been to this store and they provide no service at the customer service register. If you need western union they always do not have some trained to do it on staff. Today 10/11/23 I stood waiting from 18:20 - 18:33 hr during that time informed employees on 3 different occasions I need assistance and no one showed up. The end result was I left the store without being assisted.

3 employees standing around the front of the store - literally standing there watching the self-serve checkout, with 0 registers open. An old lady that was struggling to use the self-checkout asked if she could use a register with a person assisting her, and she was told No, that no registers are open. Employees are there to watch folks use self checkout instead of helping. Will never be back here.Edit: the business responded, but if you go back to previous reviews voicing the same exact concern, this isn’t the first time that they’ve acknowledged it, yet nothing has changed. Nothing but a canned response without any actions to follow.

Came here today for a few things. Had a great experience when leaving. A girl scout troop was outside selling cookies. I wasn't gonna buy anything until one of the dads named Ben Bertoline talked to me. He was very persistent to say the least. He really takes girl scouts seriously which is sweet. Go Ben!

Stopped by this Acme on my why home from work to pick up some cold cuts. I went to the back of the store to the deli department and saw there was nobody behind the counter. I figured they were in the back they be right out. Meanwhile other customers started showing up wondering where the deli employees was. After waiting for about five minutes I figured I would walk up to the front of the store to the customer service desk. I asked if anyone was at the deli and I was told that he was "on his break, sorry."I guess there's only one person in the whole store who can use a meat slicer. Meanwhile, they lost the sales of five other customers as we all walked out. Maybe a sign at the deli department, stating that they will be back in 15 minutes would've helped. I guess, acme supermarkets can afford to lose all this business. As for me, I will not be going back I will patronize my local delicatessen.

Food always expired and/ or rotten. Do not buy meat or produce or dairy from here....., or the "fresh" soup by the deli. I got sick from 4 week old lobster bisque.

I work across the lower 48, and as such get to experience alot of different stores, shops, as well as communities. while the store is clean, as well as orderly I also found the staff I did meet to be rude, and abrasive.There were not one, but two cashiers available with no one in line, and was told I had to use the self service scanner that was card only. When I'm out of town I prefer the use of cash so I don't have to worry about my card information getting stolen.I won't be shopping here again, and as the rest of my crew handles finances similarly they likely won't be either.

*November 20, 2022My mother and I had came here to shop for a couple things but, soon after had wanted to return one of the products, because she did not want it. (The product(s) we were shopping for was orange juice and microwave pizzas). Whenever you have to do a return, they direct you to the Customer Service counter...my mother and I didn't have a pleasant experience with the employee who was attempting to do the return..He seemed like he didn't know what he was doing/was confused over something, that was so simple to get done, (we just wanted to return the orange juice I had bought and repurchase for another orange juice container..).And why is it, that almost every time my mother and I go to this ACME location we happen to find the products we need always expired...This isn't professional etiquette of the grocer when it comes to shopping for what you need. We would like if they could PLEASE have the products with valid dates. It is such a turn off really...
