Amerigas is the worst propane co I've ever dealt with . They suck you in give you a low price on propane then they start jacking up the price . Also never told me about the $150 tank rental each yr if you don't use a certain amount . I called told them I was getting a different company they kept charging me . Now my bills up to $270 ,had 43% left in the tank haven't seen a refund for that but there still charging me for tank rental. I have a hearing issue can't understand the people on the phone. Maybe they will respond to the terrible review. I guess ill wait and see

This is my 3rd time ordering and this is the second time having an issue with delivery. I've placed an order and they leave me almost 2weeks with no heat no hot water with a baby in the house even after ordering an emergency order. I finally spoke to someone on march 27th they told me I should be getting a delivery tomorrow march 28 it is now April 3 I'm running my electric up to keep us warm.i called today on April 3 to be told a driver has not been assigned. This is ridiculous!!! I will be sourcing out looking for another company.

Called with a gas leak on 1/16, they came out on 1/17 to repair, gas leak came back on 1/22. Due to weather they could not come for a few days, kept calling to reschedule the appointment and now they only have an appointment for 2/13. This is for a gas leak! Unbelievable how unreliable this company is. Will be looking for another gas provider immediately.Adding for an additional negative experience. They did not deliver gas on time and now I am at 0%, it is snowing and no confirmation on when they will be here. Won’t be using this service any longer.

Unreliable and inconsistent. I scheduled a delivery online on 12/14/22 and the estimated date of delivery was between 12/15/22-12/21/22. When the 21st came around there was no delivery. When I checked my delivery status it still stated the 21st, "end of the day." When I called and spoke to a representative they claimed that the dates are wrong and they have to update the system but that my propane will be delivered on Friday the 23rd. I called back on the 22nd I explained that I was at 0% and that my area was going to have a snowstorm and negative temperatures the next day. The woman I spoke to said that she will make sure that my propane delivery will be first thing Friday. I called today, Friday the 23rd at noon and was told by another representative that my delivery would not be until the 26th!!! I explained that the representative I spoke to yesterday was placing my delivery as a priority due to my tank being 0% and the pending inclement weather, The representative said they will make sure my delivery will be here today since I was told that. I am still waiting on my delivery and am being told it will be 6:30pm. I call this evening at 7:30pm and I am being told it is not until the 26th. I had to explain ONCE AGAIN everything that I have been told. Their customer service is outsourced and there doesn't seem to be any communication or notes taken on these phone calls because then they would see who, I've spoken to and what has been said. I am disappointed because this is not the first time this has happened when I have been told different dates and times and I feel the need to constantly call so that my delivery is not forgotten about.

I went without dinner tonight due to Amerigas not fulfilling an "automatic delivery" to a restaurant. You may want to review your contract and what"automatic delivery" actually means. Just so you are aware, the small local business made $0.00 today, and their employees went without also. I cannot wait to hear your generic response about your customer service department improving and wanting to hear more details about my experience.

The absolute worst. Frequently fails to show up for automatic deliveries, leaving our restaurant to close for the day until an “emergency delivery” shows up. There is no accountability anywhere within this company. Please do yourself a favor and use any other service.

I'd give them 0 stars if it was possible. Reps are extremely unprofessional. Constantly getting different answers. I paid for an emergency 24 hour delivery they didn't show up for 3 days. I was told I'd get a refund but I informed them no need just credit the account and fill my tank with the remaining balance. 5 months pass and still nothing. I was given $100 worth of propane while I "waited" for the remaining balance to clear...then a rep gets on the phone with attitude and tells me he is not going to credit my remaining balance and he doesn't know why they did it in the first place. I was told I needed to pay again which I had to clarify " so even though you owe me money I have to give you money for you to not show up?" His RESPONSE WAS A SIMPLE YES. I asked for a supervisor he told me he was one and then back tracked his statement. I asked to put a complaint and was denied...I asked to be transferred and was denied. I've had amerigas for over 20 years but this is it for me.

Ever since they made the new amerigas call center service has Been horrible...DO NOT GET AMERIGAS...I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!

I am a brand new customer and called because I smelled propane outside of the tank. They told me to turn off the gas, and evacuate the house and they would send someone in an hour for emergency service. That was 5 days ago. I have called four more times, and each time the customer service representative apologizes for the mistake the last one made and promises me that somebody will contact me within an hour guaranteed and will be out that day. Today I spoke to customer service representative who both lied to me and said someone would call in an hour and be out today and for the 5th time no show, no call. I have no heat, no hot water and no ability to cook. Each time I called they advised me to evacuate their house, but where do they think that I'm supposed to stay with my four dogs while they no-show on the over and over again? This is supposed to be an emergency gas leak. If this is the way they respond to an emergency, I can't imagine with their customer services for regular non-emergencies. They've absolutely lost me as a customer. I don't understand how they could be so irresponsible with what could be potentially life threatening emergency.

If I could rate this company zero stars I would. We discontinued this propane service and six months later, we are still have it’s two propane tanks sitting on our property after numerous requests to pick up the tanks and refund our account for remaining propane.
