I have a whole stack of money off coupons for fresh produce four dollars and $10
Unfortunately, after buying $20 worth of produce, I was told the Sydney store does not accept these coupons. That’s just wrong!! Price chopper’s Price chopper market 32 is market 32 I had over $40 of market 32 products that’s just not fair. That was $10. I thought would come off my bill.

I spent over 45 years in the supermarket business and I held many positions both department mgr and store management positions over years.
Unfortunately the only supermarket in the Sidney area sucks.
The meat department looks horrendous. Not even properly trimmed or wrapped. Some of the chop meat is so full of fat it looks almost white instead of red!
And the prices? You’ve got to be kidding. Way too expensive.
Your produce depart is a joke. There’s more beer selection than fruits and vegetables. You have the Arizona ice tea on sale .Why? It’s always empty and the best seller diet lemon tea is not part of your set and if it is it’s never on the shelf. Why is the Arizona tea section a small 4 foot section which are only packed 4 to a case but the seltzer area has like a 20 foot section. Really stupid plan-o-grams and poor shelf management.
I can tell that the frozen cases must go out a lot because I can tell by the texture of the boxes . The boxes should not be soft. Smallest dairy section I have ever seen. The lobster tank was filled with way too many lobsters which will kill the lobsters on the bottom when there are so many lobsters. Your cashiers are very slow! And you have to wait forever to get the register receipt
Every time I go there there is never anyone at customer service and I’ve never seen more than 3 registers open at a time. I will not use the self check.out If I do I should get a 15% discount.
Also I am sick of ecoupons and shoppers cards. If it’s on sale it’s on sale. Do you think I have nothing else to do in my life then download stupid e coupons? Come on give me a break . It’s either on sale or it’s not. Stop playing these stupid games. If you can’t make it easy to get sale items I can’t be bothered buying them stop playing games with people time.
I look forward to a new supermarket in the area because the Price Chopper in Sidney sucks!.

I like that its directly in town, the staff and boss are friendly whenever i walk by them in the aslies. The parking lot is reasonable by size. Wish the prices were more affordable on certain products.

I drive about an hour to get to the Chopper, its the best for groceries within that drive distance. Decent selections organics, gourmet cheeses, health snacks and the usual supermarket items. The person in the seafood section, or the frozen section was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and always like to give a shout out to great service. Truly a great employee they have there.

If there is any way to purchase your groceries from a different store, I highly recommend doing that. Price Chopper or Market 52 is cruel to employees and rude to customers.
About a week ago I attempted to return bottles, but the machine was not working, ok I get it. A few days ago I attempted again, this time I was told that beginning that evening the machines are closed at 10. Frustrating especially after the cashier watched me as I passed her with a cart full of deposits. Yesterday I arrived at 910 and machine needed an associate. Wouldn't be a problem except for the only associate with that level of training is scheduled until 900.
This clearly is not a real huge problem, however you should expect this type of thing. That's why it did not surprise me today when I finally finished returning deposits and the motor mouth night cashier informed me that I was over the bottle return limit and handed to me one of the deposit slips that had a value of $0.10. This being the amount I was over the return limit.
Clearly price chopper continues to cultivate a culture of confusion that confounds its customers.

Not a terrible store lots of people like to complain about the staff but maybe you should try working for minimum wage and deal with disrespectful and lazy people all day just today I saw an older man tell the person at self checkout that he doesn't work there and then made the employee check them out at self checkout maybe if people got treated better they would treat you better

Ughhhh... I hate self checkout. Please just hire more employees or at least take a half hour's wages off my purchase since it takes me that long to ring up about 6 items. I know this is everywhere, not just this store, but jeez, nobody likes it. I want a cashier that knows where the stupid barcode is already, can easily ring up fresh fruit, and doesn't annoyingly repeat "Please place the item in the bag" in my face for 5 minutes when the item IS in the bag. The cashiers are very nice, there's just always a million people in line. Not a lot of vegetarian or lactose-free options, but has the basics. Pretty clean store, reasonable prices. They put up with my (ex) friend's insane loud racist rant- handled it very professionally. Just gotta hire more cashiers!!
