Silver Bay General Store is an excellent shop loaded with small town charm and is one of a kind. It is a great, very convenient store for basic needs, essentials, groceries, beverages, supplies, snacks, souvenirs, and fuel. Under new ownership, it now takes credit cards and has an expanded merchandise selection featuring many regionally and locally made items like bread, maple syrup, fresh bacon and eggs, gifts, and old fashioned candies. The fresh breakfast and lunch sandwiches are delicious, and they also have iced coffee. The owner and staff are super, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. This cute store is packed with a lot and adds to the whole ADK vibe, saving a drive to other towns.
Just picked up an Italian on a tomato basil wrap. The folks there really know how to assemble a great sandwich!! Ham, salami, lettuce, tomato, mayo, oil and vinegar, oregano. Lights out. Wonderful country store! They have the best coffees around (great iced coffee and lattes). The owners are super friendly. You can order ahead to have delicious fresh seafood brought in for you to cook at your home.

This place is a pure gem. The sandos are fresh and delicious and Paul is an amazing person. I can't say enough good things about him and this awesome place. Locally sourced ingredients and heart and soul all the way!
