This store is not our regular store, but we have a little place in the South towns and we always shop here. Don't go to Tops on route 5 across from Rite Aid near Angola! We have gotten rotten things there. This Save a lot is always well organized, stocked and staff is helpful. Parking is ample and handicapped is located near the door. Advice - if it's super hot outside, bring in a sweatshirt or sweater because they keep it very cold inside! 😂 Which is good for your food!

It's a grocery store, so not very exciting. But store is always clean and organized and they usually have really good deals on foods you'd spend a lot more for at other stores.

I haven't been to the Sav A Lot in Silver Creek in a long while but since I was in the area and needed butter, I stopped here. They had the dark cherries on sale and who can pass them up considering they aren't here for nearly long enough. I was not disappointed. I did have some trouble trying to use the coupon scan thing to get the sale price for the butter. Ordinarily, this wouldn't have been an issue but I was in a hurry what with the temp in the mid-80's and two dogs in the car. Windows were down but it doesn't help in the humidity. The nicest part of the whole trip isn't as much about the store because I've always liked that particular Sav A Lot. Usually better sales than the one in Dunkirk. It just so happened that I ran into a friend I haven't seen in almost eight years and she was working there as a cashier. She didn't recognize me immediately without any makeup on at all but I recognized her and it made my day. This probably want one of my better reviews but there's only so much to be said about a grocery store. With the price of food what it is, it's a miracle that I managed to say anything pleasant.

Friendly staff. Always ready to assist customers with a smile! Although I have noticed this particular location has higher prices. To me, it's worth the extra few minutes to ride to Dunkirk or North Collins for larger shopping orders as the prices are MUCH lower at those other two locations.
