We have been coming to Mirbeau for years starting as kids. Everything could use an update, but overall it's still a nice experience.I would say my only complaint is when they started adding day passes, instead of just guests, the spa gets very crowded now.

My husband and I visited for our wedding anniversary. What an experience. The spa is small and expensive, but well worth it. The quiet cove is a nice place to rest before service next to the fireplace or put your feet into the foot bath. Our service was too quick for the money paid. We booked a 50 minute couples massage that was more like a half an hour after they go through the essential oils presentation. We were able to spend a few hours at the aqua terrace. The hot tub/pool was nice. The day was sunny so to spend a few hours relaxing by the gigantic fireplace outdoors and get in and out of the pool was amazing. Bar service at the terrace. No need to carry money. They send everything to your end bill. Can use entire facility if you book a service which includes bikes to ride into town or around the property. Although the actual service wasnt what I expected, the facility and mostly the aqua terrace made up for it.Update December 2023Mirbeau is a high end spa and the best you can find in the Finger Lakes area. The Roman foot bath/meditating area is a nice relaxing area to unwind before a spa service. The hot tub area has its own tiki bar and light fare menu. We went to the wine bar for a drink after our massage service and the dining room and bar is very nice. The massage itself is one of the best I’ve had. Thank you to Ryan and Brenda who conducted our services when visiting the spa. Beautiful setting.

Our company holiday gift this year was a visit to the spa. We were able to get all 25 of our staff in on Thursday morning the scheduler accommodated all our treatment requests. The spa is beautiful and we all enjoyed the amenities. We arranged to have lunch together after our treatments and everything was very tasty and we even had a private room! Highly recommend Mirabeau for a day of pampering even for a large group like ours.

After many nice stays here we hit a bump in the road this time with numerous issues. Very unsatisfied with the outcome with so many issues from the room not cleaned, getting double charged for tips, rude guests and the list goes on.I did get a refund for the double gratuity I was charged BUT THATS IT...Not sure we will be going back after paying such a premium cost and being way not happy. The facility is always nice, we love it there but its to bad the rest seems to be falling apart.

I had the pleasure of staying at Mirbeau Skaneateles for 4 nights. My boyfriend surprised me with this getaway and when I say it was perfect… I mean it. We stayed in one of the king cottage rooms which had beautiful views of the grounds. Our room was stunning! Big cozy bed, big soaking tub and a lovely shower head. Mirbeau staff dropped off sleep masks, bath bombs, chocolates and a lavender pillow spritz which I loved. We had a lovely couples massage “Art of Living” and it was rather life changing. 10/10 to the massage therapists we had! The outdoor spa was relaxing and fun! The quiet room was a great place to recharge (use a chilled lavender towel on your head). We made reservations at multiple places in the village to eat during our stay in Skaneateles. However, after our dining experience at Mirbeau we ended up canceling them. My boyfriend loved the whipped brie, steak frites and braised short rib! The French onion soup is the best I’ve had. For dessert you have to try the carrot cake… you just have to! And last but certainly not least, I want to talk about Ed. Ed is THE bartender at Mirbeau and he truly adds something special to your experience. We looked forward to ending each of our days sitting at the bar and chatting it up with him. He is great company and serves up fantastic cocktails. We look forward to seeing him again.Thank you to everyone at Mirbeau- our stay is one we will remember!

I have been to mirbeau skaneateles numerous times and this past time noticed a huge change in their professionalism and hospitality. I booked a group of treatments for five women and was told I wasn’t allowed in with the group because my treatment was later in the day. I was forced to leave while my friends were inside enjoying. Finally after numerous complaints they reluctantly allowed me back in but the manager never followed up.

The spa was smaller and more crowded than expected. It seemed a bit banged up...scratches on doors, floors and the woman's locker room floor was a bit dirty. Also, the space seemed small but did have a very good amount of lotions, shampoo, towels etc. Another downfall was there was only a small changing room and 2 small showers. Frankly, for the price I was surprised. I would like to add that the heated whirlpool spa was a great relaxing experience. We loved it but then the glass of wine I purchased was $17, a little steep. In fact, for the price I feel a complimentary glass would be most welcome and good business. My massage was relaxing and I enjoyed it.

Too many people for my liking. Could have been more options for pools and relaxing areas without couples kissin face right next to you. Looks pretty. Massage was good. Probably will try the casino next time idk if id go back.

My mother and I came for a visit to Mirbeau recently while I was on fall break as a student at Syracuse university and had the absolute most wonderful time. We originally came for just lunch, and were astonished by the beautiful view of the Monet garden. The staff were incredible, clearly trained in fine dining experience. The focaccia brought before the meal was delicious. Mirbeau equips people seated outdoors with ingenious heat lamps so that you stay perfectly cozy while enjoying the view. My mother then surprised me that afternoon after with a trip to the spa and a massage there. I love the robes with their fuzzy interiors and the nice quality sandals provided. The staff were kind enough to show us around the spa since it was our first time. We especially enjoyed the “quiet room”. It’s beautiful, and you feel as though you’re in an ancient Roman bathhouse. My mom and I have been to over 14 European countries together; The entire day we kept commenting on how we felt like we had been transported to France for a day. The interior design is tastefully French and elegant without looking kitschy or fake. Our massages were lovely- the only thing I could have asked for was that they could go on forever! I did not want to leave Mirbeau. We have decided to make this business a yearly fall tradition. Thank you Mirbeau!!!!Food & drinks: The food was incredible!! We loved how much attention was put into creating an entire menu just for the fall season.Noteworthy details: Everything about this place is relaxing. You MUST visit!
