“I was looking for my appointment and accidentally ended up in the basement—found the sweetest little cafe down there. The owner was so kind, gave me samples to try. Her oatmeal and chicken soup? Incredible!!!!! I got the Dominican breakfast with mashed plantain, cheese, egg, and sausage. So good. This place deserves to be outside, not hiding underground.
If you’re ever in the building (or even nearby), do yourself a favor and head to the basement. This place might be hidden, but it’s unforgettable. ( the building is opposite to St. John’s hospital)”

After the owner made good on my previous experience, I returned and had a philly cheese steak. It wasn't steak, but thinly sliced roast beef, cheese and sauteed onions. It was delicious! Granted the owner was there to make sure I had a better experience, but I will definitely go back. Kudos to great customer service and the care and pride Willie has in his restaurants.
Roo wrap: chicken was dry as a bone and flavorless. No balsamic dressing as advertised. Sign said $10.99, I got charged $11.99 + tax.
The store has no flow and is extremely awkward to order, Narrow spaces to move around in, then wait, then pay in a totally different area.
Most of all, the food was disappointing.

“Absolutely, hands-down, best custom butcher in the area, with fantastic selection of great stuff. Former Armonkers, we still drive from Massachusetts to pick up filets and ribs here because it’s *that good*. Very friendly staff, good prices, a must for any special dinner or party.”
