horrible service , horrible car ,dirty damaged cars . the cars dash board had warning lights , the hood was not closed. when we got onto the highway alarms started going off that hose hood was open . then after pulling over and closing the hood the oil maintenance lights we're on. a light bulb warning light was on also the entire trip . the car made clunking noises when turning . and while in 15 degrees in the snow the left rear window would not close . and if thats bad bad enough , when I returned the car early at night the little dirty booth had no drop box . we i had to return the following morning and they were not open as the posted hours . I had no place to leave the key and needs to fork work after returning the flowing day I was charged for the car sitting in the parking lot with a rude arrogant attitude. the office was not open with posted hours . the little dirty office smells like Marajuana pushy sales rep pushing extra unneeded insurance . after calling the main customer support twice .I was told a manager would a call me back but no one did . if you want to get over charged for a damaged dirty car and horrible service ,that's the place . sleepy hollow

If you're looking for a reliable and professional car rental service, look no further than Enterprise Rent a car at the Sleepy Hollow location. From start to finish, my experience with this location was nothing short of exceptional.To begin with, the booking process was incredibly easy and straightforward. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and they were able to answer all of my questions and provide me with all of the information I needed to make an informed decision.When I arrived to pick up the car, everything was ready to go. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. The staff took the time to walk me through all of the features and controls of the car, and they made sure that I had everything I needed to make my rental experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible along with an amazing upgrade.Throughout the rental period, I had no issues with the car whatsoever. It performed beautifully and met all of my needs. When it was time to return the car, the staff was just as friendly and helpful as they were when I picked it up. They made the return process quick and easy. It felt like a family business rather than a corporate company in a good and a personal way. Specially, Alex at the rental location was excellent and took care of everything really well and in a professional manner.Overall, I would highly recommend Enterprise rent a car @ Sleepy Hollow to anyone in need of a car rental. As non-car-owners, we rented from this location to help us during a move, and it was fine. Certainly nothing outstanding, but nothing terribly annoying happened either. Cool. But wait for it...Two weeks later we decided to rent from them again, to finish up the move. The day of our confirmed reservation, we received a call that they did not have a car available for us, and they could not find one. Say what?! We need a car! The reservation was confirmed?! But to no avail, we received no help and no sympathy from Enterprise.Moreover, when we Ubered past the establishment five minutes after the phone call, there were numerous cars in the parking lot. Upwards of ten, which was far more than had been present when we rented from them two weeks prior. Apparently, we have now learned, when picking up from one location and dropping off at another (as we would have been), reserved cars "mysteriously" become "unavailable".Thankfully, the Hertz down the street was much more responsive and able to help us. Thanks to Enterprise, we are now loyal Hertz customers.

I had a rental for this past weekend, a midsize starting at noon on Friday. I received a call on Thursday afternoon saying there was no car for my rental. I had reserved the car two months in advance and reiterated that I was dependent upon the car for the weekend. Low and behold, a car was confirmed - but a very small compact car. As someone who is 6'2", I was barely able to fit and was told it was this or nothing. Certainly not the midsize car that was booked and paid for. I ended up trading the car out near Troy, taking over an hour of my day to fix their problem. Also only one person was working on Friday so they did not honor the pickup request that was booked.TL;DR: no guarantee your reservation will be honored, and no guarantee you get what you booked. Prepare for extra hassle.

A disaster. 1) was not advised upon the many specific booking requirements when I spoke to the rep over the phone, so only discovered all of this after leaving the hotel and arriving to the Enterprise office which meant we had to scramble for documents and cards.2) when we did receive the car, the fuel tank was below half (which is bizarrely the agreed level).3) the scene at the office when we dropped the car back was one of chaos. There was another customer who was blocked in and anxiously waiting to leave. I requested my personal debit card to be charged for payment and the credit card shadow payment to be reversed. I was assured this would be no problem. Then discovered days later that the opposite had happened. The representative was also unable to provide a receipt.4) just to top things off, after two reminders to the Enterprise rep, the taxi fare which we were promised would be deducted from the bill, was not. Even the Enterprise customer support who I since logged a case with over the phone have never replied to me with any form of response. The impression I got is that the operation is extremely disorganised. Will never book with Enterprise again as a result.** 2 weeks after sharing my email as instructed and still no contact from the company..

When I rented the car from them on hotwire their address stated that they are in White Plains, which is not true; they are in Sleepy Hollow. It’s a tactic used to draw business away from the agencies in White Plains, but it inconveniences customers. Although I had a reservation, they gave my car away, because they said they weren’t sure that I was coming; that is actually the point of a reservation. After paying a cab to go 20 minutes to Sleepy Hollow they told me they had no cars and I had to turn around and go back to White Plains to another agency. According to them they couldn’t contact me, because they didn’t have a phone number. It is impossible to make a reservation online without a phone number, so that is a lie. These people can’t be trusted, don’t do business with them, there are too many other places you can go and be assured that you will get a car that you reserve.

After trying to renew my 30 day contract on my rental from out of state, I called the location I rented from and didn't get through. Called corporate and they couldn't do anything either.Napoleon was THE ONLY representative from enterprise that could help me successfully! He got me through to the original enterprise I rented from even after consecutive attempts myself and i would just get hung up on. He was a life saver and a great professional to have at this location. If you ever have to get a professional go to this location or any location that has Napoleon! He gets stuff done!!
