My boyfriend made his appointment last month for today at 12:40. He has a deadline for a vision test submission for work. We live 40 mins away from this location. At 12:20 as were sitting in the parking lot waiting for the appointment he received a call from the receptionist Chaudry that the appointment needed to be rescheduled. So rightfully so my boyfriend was not happy about that and decided to go in and ask why. He was told by the workers that the doctor had called out and or needed to leave and they didn't have a doctor available. Had they had the courtesy to call when they started there day, opening at 9am, that the appointment needed to be rescheduled it would have been fine. Instead of apologizing, a lady came out of the back and said to him “People call out”. This is the second time Ive noticed the snarky attitudes of the ladies who work here. Do not act like we are inconveniencing you by being upset that an appointment was cancelled while we were sitting in the parking lot. They had all morning to let us know and we wouldn't have drove out there. He has been with vision works for years, and went to them for all of his exams, prescriptions and we will never go back. You would figure they would treat people better who have been going there for years

I recommended this place to my husband because I had such a great experience here. Granted, it was a long wait, but that can happen in any medical establishment. One of the employees there, Bethany, is incredibly knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to provide top-notch service. Once I realized my progressive lenses may not be working for me, I went back in and spoke with Chad, who was also fantastic and said I should come back in a week. On the 3rd visit, Erin (long curly hair) informed me that the glasses were made perfectly, and I was agreeable to this. She continued in a seemingly combative way and did not explain anything to me, so I asked if I could deal with Bethany. She walked me over to Bethany and said, "She doesn't like the way I'm speaking to her." As it turns out the lenses were in fact off and had to be adjusted. I hope upper management takes note of this, compensates those that provide awesome customer service, and deals with those who alienate the customer base. Erin also helped my husband who states she was less than appealing to work with.

I had a great experience with my appointment here. Good selection of frames. Price point was very competitive. Thr best part, by far, is the staff. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, professional and reassuring. I'm happy to have found this location.

They patiently helped me maneuver a situation when I was there to get a second opinion on a prescription from a different optometrist, at a different business. They were thorough and helped get me the right prescription. I was happy browsing through the large eyeglass lens selection. There was a lot of choices to pick from, even though I'm paying with medicaid. I found glasses I like, which was important to me. The people were friendly and personable. I can't wait to get my new glasses.

I received my glasses and prescription sunglasses from here a few months back and have received good service from the staff. But this review is for my experience receiving my contacts! Chad and Sara were so helpful and knowledgeable! I felt at ease while I did my contact trials with them! Definitely come here and check them out for all your vision needs.

I was very disappointed with the person doing the eye exam on my son. She never spoke to him , even though he is 12. She was rude , dismissive and did nothing to help him. She could not get him to 20/20 and brushed us off.when I asked why, she basically had no answer.Your staff needs training on dealing with children on the spectrum. I feel a disclaimer should be placed on the door saying “ no spectrum kids allowed “. That was how she made us feelThe receptionist and ladies out front were Amazing, kind and genuine.I believe the gentleman there, possibly office manager, should take a page from his staff in how to treat customers. His customer service skills were terrible.Overall the appointment was terrible and a waste of time and money.

Today I took a class for contacts. Chad helped me and it was great! He showed me how to put the contacts in and out of my eyes, when I had a little trouble he told me an experience that he had with contacts and after that I got it pretty well. He was super humorous and helpful, Thank you!

My first time at Empire Vision Works and my first telehealth appointment. I don't have any complaints. The process was quite easy. The virtual doctors were fine. They had the exact frames I wanted in store. With Davis vision insurance, I got an amazing deal on my glasses. Doctor was able to give me a second opinion, and he confirmed I do not have early signs of glaucoma like my last doctor at lens crafters said. Can't wait for my new glasses to be ready. Employees were very friendly and fun people.

The young lady (I forgot her name, sorry) that helped me with my prescription was an absolute delight. We talked about similar interests, and before I knew it, I was done.I did go back with my sunglasses to exchange for a different pair (I didn't like the coverage they gave me. To small)The same young woman helped me and was extremely patient while I picked another pair. She also fixed my new glasses to make me more comfortable.Now I'm just waiting for my new sunglasses. I have never had a long wait for my glasses to come in. Anyway, if you need to go there, look for a wonderful woman with black hair, tattoos and dressed in her own unique way that totally works for her. ?

My dog ate my last pair of glasses (not literally just destroyed them). The last two eye doctors I tried to go to, both male, had told me my eyesight was fine. I work on a computer all day, and my vision is blurry from astigmatism etc. I have been wearing glasses for reading and on the computer since I was a child. I was able to make an appointment much faster than the regular doctor here, the employees listened to my concerns, did more thorough eye testing than either of the previous traditional eye doctors I had been to, and were friendly. For me, I appreciate that they weren’t dismissive of my concerns. I was helped by all female employees. I usually wouldn’t have a preference either way, but they actually listened and helped me.

Poor customer service when I went in both times. No one was taking care of customers when I walked in the first time. Tried to call 3 times to ask if glasses were ready after 7-10 business days and no one answered the phone. Checked online and it said my order was still pending. When I went in person to ask, the women at the front didn’t seem to care that I tried to call before coming in. If it wasn’t for how nice the actual doctor was during my exam, I would be leaving a 1/5 stars.

This is the third year I have been a customer at this Visionworks. I have never had a bad experience here. Dr. Cahill has been very patient with me, especially since I have had some trouble with getting my vision dialed in. And because the selection of frames is so overwhelming, I just either pick five frames and let Bethany choose which ones I should get or I just let her pick the frames out for me, because she has great taste. Highly recommend the Slingerlands store.

Made an appointment for our 4 children. Arrived for it a couple of days later. Children were examined consecutively, and 2 needed stronger lenses in both eyes. Brittany took us on as a family and she was fabulous! We got great glasses due to her recommendations and she even located a relevant coupon for us that gave us a nice discount! The manager, Chad, checked on us throughout the process and we were only there for about an hour! The whole staff was friendly, welcoming and caring. You can clearly tell they obviously like their jobs. It's our 1st visit with them and from our experience, I highly recommend them!

I have been trying to get ahold of someone for the past year, no one answers the phone and when I finally got someone to answer they told me they'd have someone call me back, no one did. Then I was told to email Visionworks with my complaints, I did... no one got back to me or followed up. THEN I just show up and they tell me my prescription expired and I'd have to pay out of pocket for my visit and contacts even though it's their fault no one returned any of my calls, messages, or emails. When I asked why no one got back to me the staff would just laugh and say "I know they are horrible.. it's corporate." 300 later, They are by far the WORST business ever and should not be allowed to operate. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. No wonder they have ONE star.
