I don't know what happened here since 13 months agoThe front associate (blond women) was help full in the beginning Then it went poorly. Virtual doctor wrote down the wrong script after the exam. They allegedly texted the Dr. And we're supposed to call me back same day. Call never came. In fact no one picks up the phone three days later. They keep pushing off to the virtual assistant (a bot) which is even worseThe process is more than exhaustive Still need contacts and my insurance company already paid for exam. It's bad.

System was down and the sales associate seemed annoyed as soon as I walked in. They attempted to rush me out & offered very little help. I had to ask her why are we at the register and not sitting down to review the frames I selected. In addition, I checked my bill and see they attempted to charge me for a warranty plan that I did not ask for. Very poor job of explaining the charges for each item & what was / was not covered by insurance. Unfortunately this ruined the wonderful experience I had with the optometrist, who did a great job and was fast & efficient.

I was the only person in this office and it still took them 20 min to see me for the initial exam. I then waited another 10 min for the doctor to see me and when I walked in it was obvious that she was just watching videos on her phone the entire time. They couldn’t find me in the system for my insurance. They had issues finding my information from previous visits. Overall a mess. They also pushed me to get an exam for $35 that they did not tell me anything about. Turns out it was a full retinal scan to check for macular degeneration. I’m 23 with zero history of diabetes. There was zero reason for them to push this exam on me.

I had a good experience getting an eye exam here. Nothing like the horror stories in the other reviews, It was partly over telehealth in the office. Michelle and Bob were very respectful and professional. I gave 3 stars because it took a while (4 PM appointment, approx. 25 min delay, left at 5:30 PM). Also they didn't have contacts in the store. They should arrive within 7 days.

Everyone was so nice and helpful at this location, and Bob went above and and beyond teaching my son learn to use his contacts with such patience. My son left so excited and confident because of Bob's help. Wish I could give 10 stars!!

I got a text that my daughters contacts were ready. I wasn’t aware that I needed to make an appointment for her to be taught how to take them in and out so I just went into the store to pick up the contacts. We spoke with Bob who was kind enough to stay overtime and teach my daughter how to wear the contacts. He was great! Bob was so kind and knew exactly how to teach her how to place the contacts in and out. Thank you Bob for all your help and staying to help my daughter and not make a working mom have to come back on another day. We appreciate your time and help!!

Customer service and staff is EXCELLENT! However- trying to reach the location by phone is impossible- i needed to schedule contact lens fitting- the automated phone system is antiquated . Brought me in circles several times. Tried calling 5 times on 5 different days- can not schedule anything online except for an eye exam which i already had done. I had to physically drive to the store to schedule. After I complete this lens fitting I will be finding a different provider for exams and glasses. It’s truly a shame because like I stated earlier the staff is fantastic.

Why would you go anywhere else. They have all the newest frames and eye exams on site. My family has be going here for years and plan to for many years. The Manager Bob has to be one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and extremely knowledgeable, about all aspects of the process of getting glasses.

If you’re looking for good quality service look no further than Davis Vision of Smithtown. The doctors and staff are amazing. We always ask and see Cheryl for our family’s eye glasses and contacts. Not only has she been here for over a decade she is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and knows which frames would be best for each of our family members.

Bob is the absolute best! We’ve been coming to Davis for years and we always get the best service. So patient and kind, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Excellent with kids too, my son is very hard to work with and he never rushes us and he always leaves happy

The doctor was the nicest optometrist I’ve ever been to. She was super sweet and friendly, answered my questions happily. The assistant was nice and knowledgeable as well. Best visionworks location hands down!

This is the best visionworks location on Long Island hands down. They helped me with both my children’s glasses and my own. They were friendly & fairly quick despite being short staffed. Cheryl was wonderful and made my experience great. I will only come to this location moving forward.

Had an annual eye exam as well as the purchase of a new pair of glasses. The exam was very quick and optometrist was very friendly. Afterwards Cheryl helped me pick out my new glasses. She was extremely informative and helpful between her honest opinions, and carefully calculating to make sure I received the best possible price. Overall great experience and will return for my next annual exam.

Stopped by the Visionworks in smith town just to see what i liked and what my plan covered. Didnt really have more than 15 minutes. Well I found something i liked while my account was updated. Sat down with a different person who easliy processed me on ten minutes because her co worker did some data input within even being askedIn and out great experience not a hard w on anything i didn’t want either 5 star experience

This is truly the worst, most unprofessional place I've ever been to in my entire life. Not only do they claim that they didn't have my appointment and it was scheduled for NEXT year, but I did not see a physical person for my exam. A remote technician and doctor which was NEVER mentioned to me. My insurance has full coverage for vision and yet I see a remote doctor without being told until I'm sitting in the chair? I will NEVER come here again. I'd rather pay for vision out of pocket then come here and waste my time. They don't even treat you like a patient.
