I had lived in Smithtown for over 30 years of my life and I. am sorry to say that I have always held it to higher standards then my current residence of Queensbury ny a spit away from Lake George. I truly now apologize for my bias’s opinion. I was planning to drive down to visit my ill father however my car wouldn’t start so my husband bought me a train ticket down to Long Island. I did not want to leave him without a car. The train was less than desirable so I decided to rent a car thru my insurance policy with Geico which I have done numerous times @ my Queensbury location. I had my husbands credit card and my debit card. The rude “gentleman “ wanted a copy of one of my utilities bills to verify my info. I called Geico because they would verify that I have comprehensive coverage including rental. I am disabled and tend to get fustrated @ times. The gentleman said he would call Geico for me which he did and than charged me over $1000. 00 for 3 for a small Kia which was equivalent to a car one might have had in the 80’s minus the roll down windows, The person was condescending and basically took me for a ride w/the charges for a medium sedan ! Sorry to say no stars for this location but a big 5 stars and high 5 to the Queensbury enterprise who were kind enough to explain what I needed to do ie get in touch with Geico again,

It was just a seamless experience. My car was in the body shop for repair and I needed a car for several days. I was dreading the experience, but it turned out to be very pleasant. Great team and great job by all there. Congratulations and thank you.

I had a great rental experience at the Smithtown, NY location. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. The vehicle was terrific and ease of the process was excellent. I will definitely rent again from this facility.

So I’ve used many car rental services in the past but always come back to Smithtown!!! Nick, Chris, Eric are always willing to help , go the extra mile to accommodate! When the original rental I had was too low to the ground ( not as young as I used to be-lol) they put me into another vehicle.. Both vehicles were immaculate and no issues- if I needed to go to another location they took me .. my rental services are now over received my car back and Eric took me to dealer to pick it up after all drivers had left for the day! If you need rental services this is your place to go ! Love this TEAM!!!

Awful service I reserved ahead and they treated me like a walk-In Never even verified my auto insurance coverage Gave me a car with a large Chip in the driver's view! Shouldn't rent in dangerous condition... Would never go there again.... You are better off with an Uber

I recently received a rental from Enterprise. I worked with Chris at the front desk and he secured a beautiful vehicle for me for a week. I could not be happier with their customer service. The car was immaculate and drove wonderfully. It was such a pleasure doing business with this location I would highly highly recommend them.

Very rude and unwelcoming agent. Charged me 200$ for some ashes he found in a car claiming that car has to be detailed for 200$. The car was given to me in a dirty condition at JFK and it smell. I told him that but he didn't want to hear any of it. Horrible service and unfair charges. Opened up my bank statement and found out they charged my credit card 294$! I also called Enterprise customer service and spoke to an agent about it. They told me that the manager at that location will get back to me to resolve the issue It has been 6 days. Still waiting...I had nothing but pleasant experience with Enterprise in a past, until now. I would avoid renting/returning at that location.

My experience went well with Enterprise until they charged me $400 extra without notifying me. I found out through my back account transaction. I have been calling them for over a month and I keep getting responses that they will talk to my insurance (since my insurance was supposed to pay them and they told me this wouldn’t be a problem when they rented me the car…clearly still a problem). The people there also keep responding that they will talk to their manager for the refund and then call me back. Yet, no call back and I end up calling them and following up. This is not my job! I even disputed the charge through my bank but wasn’t successful because they gave me an estimate when they rented me the car. Please don’t do business with these guys, and if you have no option, please get all the details squared out before and don’t give them your credit card info!
