The Best Leslie’s on the Island. The manager Aneesa is so knowledgeable and customer oriented. I’ve seen how she helps the customers find the parts they need and will always give her best recommendations on how to balance your pool as well. The one stop store for all of your pool needs.I was hesitant seeing previous negative reviews but they must clearly be from before Aneesa became Manager. Such a great experience whenever I come here.

Staff is super nice. Came in with two kids to look at pool toys and the woman working could not have been nicer to them!

Made my last purchase at Leslie’s today. Not sure which service is worse the customer service individual in the store that was very rude and offered no help whatsoever or the online service which is where the order originated. This type of service at this moment in time is unacceptable. There are plenty of pool supply places who appreciate their customers and provide courteous service. If that means traveling a little further it will be well worth the trip

Leslie's Pool Repair Company Recommendation | BUYER BEWARE! For those thinking of choosing Total Pool Care, for their pool repair/installation, I strongly encourage them to think again. Not only is the owner unprofessional with his ability to show receipts of items purchased or hours worked on a job, he is also uncommunicative, does not give start/end dates to a job, shops the job with subcontractors AFTER signing a contract with him, and constantly looks for opportunities to squeeze more money from clients every chance he gets.We had a horrendous experience with him with the replacement of our pool liner in November 2022. Not only did he keep uping his quote for the work to be done, he also continually added more items on the contract that did not need to be fixed in the scope of a liner change. Now this all wouldn't have been an issue typically, except for the fact that he took 80% of our initial quote upfront. Can you say entrapment? When we ceased work with him (before starting the liner change on our pool, mind you), he did not pay workers that worked on our property for the day AND refused to issue a refund of the funds not yet spent that he took from our deposit. All of this, and the fact that we found out that his Total Pool Care company license had expired in August 2021 from the Suffolk County Department of Consumer Affairs, makes this company an absolute embarrassment. Leslie's Pool Care of Smithtown, NY, will receive a letter informing them of the individuals they recommend so that this does not happen again to another unsuspecting family.

6/22/22 - Leslies can't even get the simple things right.I called Leslies in Smithtown to see if they had a replacement air relief valve (CCX1000V) for a Hayward filter. It took 15 seconds to be told by the clerk that 2 are in stock and the price was about $16. I drove right there, was then told by the same clerk that none were in stock because "the computer was slow to show the inventory". I told the clerk, in words/terms I can't write here, that he could have just put me on hold for a minute if the computer was slow. At $5/gal for gas, as I told the clerk, how can he be trusted, as he offered, to check stock at another store? A poor craftsman blames his tools and uses stupid excuses. GOOD RIDDANCE. I won't be back.

I am a pool owner who has extensively used Leslie's for my pool needs for two years in a row. I think they are an oustanding business. I like their services and products, and I think very highly of their employees. There is, however, one particular employee- Aneesa in the Smithtown store, who I would like to single out as outstanding. She has always impressed me for how hard working she is, how much she multitasks all the time, how intelligent and proactive she is, and how quick of a problem solver she is. I would like to share one more recent experience interacting with her. I bought a Polaris robotic pool cleaner. When I tried to set it up, the Polaris cleaner and the app on my phone failed to connect. I spent an awful lot of time waiting for a Polaris rep to get in touch with me, and then to walk me through troubleshooting steps. I was asked to do a myriad of things, one more weird after the other, and still no result. The Polaris rep finally told me to go to the nearest Leslie's for diagnostics. I did. Aneesa attended to the issue right away there. There was nothing wrong with the diagnostics. Aneesa was superbly quick to figure out the precise targeted steps to follow from the right section of the Polaris manual, she made far more sense than the very Polaris rep, and she solved the issue in a very short time. Now, this wasn't even store information that Aneesa handled. She was simply very quick to grasp what Polaris info to access online, and how to expertly approach the problem. I hope that management is quick to realize what an asset to the store she is, and accelerates her promotion up the management chain.

100% DO NOT USE. GO TO CHEMEX instead. 1) Sold me the wrong equipment 2) Bad installation 3) Horrible Horrible Horrible Customer service In Late August of 2020 I went to Leslie's in Smithtown Ny. My old pump blew my pool was green and I wanted to close it and set up install for the following year. They sold me a new expensive Pentair Pump. I purchased it along with a pool opening for May20th 2021. The total cost was approx $1200. PAID IN FULL! The technician shows up to install and the pump sold to me was made for an inch and a half piping, I have 2 inch piping oh and it was 7 inches too short. I learned this when the technician asked me about the site prep! NO ONE FROM LESLIES EVEN MENTIONED A SITE EVALUATION BUT HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY MONEY. YOU NEED A SITE EVALUATION. So now I have an ill fitting $1200 pump. THAT DOESNT WORK. After the tech left the pump shut down. I called the Leslie's corporate line and they DISMISSED me. Telling me they would come back till June 18th. I PAID YOU FOR A RUNNING POOL ON MAY 20th. after having to call multiple times during my vacation they finally came out May 25th. Guess what... my pump is still not working! You think Leslie's cares. 2 visits later and they still can't fix what they broke. Aren't you a Pool company. So I did go into the store to speak with them in person. The guy there told me straight up... there was nothing he Would Do. He straight up refused to help me. He stood there with a stupid look on his face basically waiting for me to leave so he could go back to testing water. DO NOT USE LESLIES. CHEMEX is 2 minutes down the road, do yourself a favor

Charged 199 dollars for chlorine. Same chlorine was 89 at Costco. Wouldn't make price adjustment or refund. Woman on phone said she couldn't take it back because she worried about the safety of the team lol. She couldn't even explain this but my wife and I were snickering. Must be the relationship between COVID and 3 inch tabs. Ok so you win the battle with a price gouge of 100 dollars plus extra. But will lose the war as myself and everyone I speak with will avoid Leslie's like the plague. Upon reflection I would have preferred if she the manager just said we are taking advantage of a temporary supply shortage instead of insulting my intelligence.

This was the greatest staff ever. I live in Huntington and visited this store to pick up Chlorine that I ordered online. Well, they didn't have it available but went over backwards to make my trip worthwhile. I got what I needed at a better price and would highly recommend this store to everyone. My daughter is moving to this neighborhood in a few months and has a pool. She will definitely be shopping there for her supplies. I can't brag about them enough.

I stopped at Leslie's to have my pool water analyzed. I was helped by Aneesa and she was very friendly. I used to go to Chemex but i will start going to Leslie's. The products are overpriced like all other pool stores (versus going to Walmart or Lowes) but the customer service at Leslie's was much better that any other pool store I've tries.

Went to 3 Leslie stores to finally find the best. Picked up a pump from the Port Jefferson store took it out the box and it was damaged. Returned to that store and they had no others in stock, my two other local stores didn't have either. What a way to start a Saturday morning. They sent me to the Smithtown store and I'm glad they did. Excellent Service Top Notch!!!The manager Aneesa treated me with the upmost of respect and will be getting ALL of my business from now on. Looking forward to purchasing my pool heater from the Smithtown store before the end of the season.

These folks really know their stuff, super friendly and helpful. There's often a wait for the free Water Analysis testing but, hey, it's free. I walked in the other day and they even knew me by name. That's remarkable nowadays. Would highly recommend using them.
