I can’t express how happy I am with Richard and his wonderful staff. My daughter is so much more confident about her math skills now. She is only in third grade but this Mathnasium was a game-changer. I am aligned with the philosophy of the program at Mathnasium as is promotes working independently as well as one-on-one support as needed. My daughter loves going to Mathnasium and I believe Richard and his staff is a very big part of that. Thank you guys so much!

My daughter is “crazy for math” now and thats all thanks to Richard and his team at Smithtown Mathnasium. Richard has an extraordinary way of making math fun and my daughter cant wait and is genuinely excited about her math session every time. He makes the “FUN” of math contagious to his entire team. All the tutors bring a level of excellence and it’s obvious they are all dedicated to not just teaching math, but fostering a deep understanding and love for the subject. Furthermore, Rich and his team take the time to understand each student, their quirks (such as needing things to be in rainbow order), their strengths and weaknesses, and foster the student as a whole. Their ability to break down complex math problems, and explain things calmly and patiently is astounding. This personalized approach has created such a sense of confidence in her abilities, making her feel supported and empowered to tackle even the most challenging problems. I’ve been witness to my daughter and other kids with a math frown, literally turned upside down! Rich has an excellent ability to be on the students level to explain things, to bring them out of a funk or “I can’t do this” attitude and its remarkable seeing such a big smile on her face every time she succeeds. On top of all this, the entire Mathnasium is kept clean and sanitary right down to disinfecting the pencils! I could not ask for more, and highly recommend Smithtown Mathnasium.

Everyone there was excellent and helped my son a great deal with A2. He even said he didn’t know why we didn’t go to them sooner!Because of them he got his best grade of the year on the Regents exam and ended up passing the class for the year!!Thank you!!!
