“We had a wonderful tour of the home led by a well-linformed and courteous docent. The family that founded Caramoor spent on importing wonderful materials - whole rooms! - from Europe along with fine art, and they hired designers who crafted beautiful custom clothing. We had a wonderful and inspiring time. She played the Theremin!”
“This little museum is definitely worth a stop if your in the area and this area is definitely worth a day trip! we had a wonderful guide although I can't remember which specific tour we did (there are multiple tour topics you can choose from, see schedule).”

“From the moment we checked in, all staff members were very friendly and helpful. There was a nice selection of breakfast items to order from the restaurant in the morning and the service was great. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.”
“I was Senior Vice Commander and my friend was Junior Vice Commander. The year was 1985. Joseph Riccio was the Post Commander. He was "our guy". We ran all the post activities and events back then. We laughed, ate, and drank. Then one day they held a coup. Gulya, and a few of his henchmen wanted Riccio OUT!, so they stuffed the ballot box. At the election meeting, both myself and my buddy, the junior vice, resigned at the underhanded way they did this to a fine long time commander. I guess everything must change eventually, but this was just sleazy. The post today is fine for a few drinks or brews and I can still recommend it, but for me "the thrill is gone".”
“I should have written this review nearly two years ago. I was on my way from Southwest Virginia to Maine to spend a few days there for Thanksgiving, and my car's timing chain went bad on CT's Cross County Expressway, leaving me stranded. I got it towed into Norwalk CT, and stayed at The Watershed, just a block from the garage. Kaitlyn at the front desk was so friendly, helpful, and convenient, that she made my involuntary overnight stay in Norwalk much less stressful than it would have been otherwise.
As far as the rooms and amenities, they were clean and pleasant and I loved the view of the railroad bridge outside the window. The staff was by far the best part of my stay though, and made if feel like I wasn't stranded. I'd love to come back and stay here again under brighter circumstances. I highly recommend The Watershed. Thank you so much, Kaitlyn!”

“Le Chateau was absolutely incredible from start to finish. We genuinely did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. Everything was so organized, seamless, and handled with such care that we were able to completely relax and enjoy every moment.
Sara was amazing from the very beginning. She was so clear and thorough in getting us started and making sure we understood everything throughout the planning process. Tori was fantastic at keeping us on track and making sure we were completely ready to go. Then Debbie took everything over on the wedding day and made sure the entire day ran seamlessly. We truly felt like we were in the best hands.
And Claudia — what can we say?! She was the BEST bridal attendant a bride and groom could ask for. She was attentive without ever being overwhelming and seemed to know exactly what we needed before we even had to ask. She made us feel so taken care of throughout the entire day.
The food was also absolutely phenomenal. Our guests are STILL talking about it. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and so many specifically said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. That is something we will never forget!
The servers were amazing as well — attentive, friendly, professional, and incredibly hardworking. Every member of the Le Chateau team contributed to making our wedding everything we dreamed it would be.
