“Chloe is very uncomfortable around strangers and even after repeated visits from some people, like our house cleaners, she still barks at them. When your technician came out to get her, she crawled under the bench I was sitting on, but went with the tech without a bark or whimper. The blood work report I got from Chloe's vet was exceptional. Clear, readable and informative. I wish my doctors would write that kind of evaluation for me. Overall, a great experience for both me and Chloe.”

“My boy Toby became fatally ill last week, and my neighbor recommended Dr. Mihok, telling me he was incredibly kind and helpful. When I called, he immediately said he could come to my home. He examined my sweet boy and gently gave us the heartbreaking news that it was likely his time. Even then, he offered to bring Toby to the vet’s office for an X-ray, just to be sure. He took our boy in his van and drove him himself. But Dr. Mihok was right—Toby was ready to cross the rainbow bridge, and he passed before reaching the office. Dr. Mihok personally brought him back to us and explained our options with so much compassion. My husband and I brought Toby to the office for cremation. When Toby was ready to come home, Dr. Mihok called us himself and drove to our house to bring him to our door. For what is truly the worst experience a pet owner can go through, Dr. Mihok went out of his way to make the process as gentle as possible. He showed genuine care for our boy’s comfort, and you could see in his eyes that his heart broke alongside ours when he handed us Toby’s remains. I have never met a veterinarian who goes so far above and beyond for the families he serves. Dr. Mihok and everyone at Cross River Veterinary are blessings. I truly don’t know how we would have gotten through this without their guidance and support. May God bless them.”

He never rushes through visits and always takes time to answer our questions, which makes a huge difference. It's clear he is an expert in all thing's animal! Most recently, he spayed our cat, and the entire experience - from pre-op to post-op was smooth and reassuring. She's recovering beautifully, and the team's follow-up shows their dedication doesn't stop at the procedure. We absolutely love Dr. Frishman and all the staff at Progressive. “This is a really good veterinary clinic that I would recommend. It's small, quaint and very personal. There were just a couple of things for me that may not bother other people. First, they do not allow you to be in the room while they are examining your pet including blood draws. I literally have separation anxiety from my BooBooKitty as she is truly my baby. I wouldn't allow my child to be examined without me present so I don't like it with my kitty. My kitty is also very anxious when she goes to the vet so having me in the room really helps to calm her. Second, my cat stopped eating after a vaccination they administered. I had to pay for ANOTHER office visit just to get an appetite stimulant which I thought should have been complimentary since the immunization was the sole reason why she wasn't eating. Just things to consider.”

They provided great insight, communicated clearly, and made the entire experience feel calm and reassuring. Our dog is reactive in a vet setting (a butt head really), and we came in for boosters and a nail trim. They handled everything so smoothly and professionally that I left genuinely speechless and shocked at how quickly they were able to get everything done. It was one of the fastest and least stressful vet visits we’ve ever had with our dog, Murphy. I can’t express how grateful we are for how well they navigated the situation. Thank you all so much!”

“We've had to use Guardian a few times over the years, but last week really motivated me to leave this 5 Star review. We were out of town and had someone staying at the house to take care of our dog. Late one night, her breathing became erratic to the point it worried our sitter. She called Guardian who instructed her to come in. They also asked her to call us to let us know and to get some permissions/questions answered (like do we have a DNR on our dog). Once they arrived, a doctor almost immediately came out to see our Bailey. After concluding she was just being a bulldog (IYKYK), they took the time to comfort our sitter and had her stay until she was comfortable to drive back home. The fact that they did not charge us for this is grateful, but the care they showed for both our 12 year old puppy and our dog sitter was incredible. I can't recommend Guardian enough. Thank you, Guardian.”
