Very nice people there. My first time visiting and they were all friendly and I felt comfortable. Lady colored my roots and did a fabulous job matching them up with my hair. I will be back while I'm visiting for the next month.

Love Leah, I give her pretty much free reign she is a true color artist and her cuts last so long, looking great.

No not recommended at all! First of all the prices are so high If she did good job I would understand why the price was high but she didn't even do good job and when I told her that I didn't like it then she goes like "ohh okey i will give you discount for next time " if is it makes sense for you then try it

Leah is all the things you want in a stylist. Finally got the haircut I wanted and when I decided to get more adventurous she went right there with me! I feel fantastic every time I walk out! Thank you again and again for finally being the “short hair, don't care†Stylist I've been searching for!

It's been a while but I do need a haircut. I recommend it here. The wait isn't too long and they do a great job. They listen and know what they are doing when it comes to the style you'd like.

I am from Los Angeles and I had to fly the next morning to New York and was looking for a salon in the Southampton area (as I previously received a poor color job and I couldn't correct it before my flight) I found AKF and I met with Leah to see if she can turn my accidental 'carrot color' highlights to a more bright honey blonde hue. Leah was confident, professional and went WAY above and beyond my expectations as a stylist! I also have extensions which can be very tricky to match with my real hair. She also trimmed my hair flawlessly to blend the hair together and conditioned them both to where my hair is silky and shiny. I went to the store after my appointment and a woman that I was passing stopped me to tell me how pretty my hair was! I'm so happy I took the chance last minute with AKF... my hair is AMAZING! Thanks so much Leah!

I gave the company one star for the way they greeted me, listened to what I wanted and engaged me in conversation. That's all they'll receive. I was referred to the company by a few friends who raved about the salon and Leah especially which pumped me up cuz that's who my appointment was with. My wedding is in 2 1/2 weeks and have been unable to find a hairdresser that has been able to give me the color I wanted. Leah insisted she knew exactly what I was looking for and it was no problem. Color came out fine except there was a blonde band going straight across the top of my head where the highlights start... Leah says no problem she's gonna fix it... puts color back in and leaves in while she goes off to dance and talk to other customers. She comes back and check the color, rinses brings me back starts to dry it... blonde band is even brighter now. Because I had been to a number of salons and been dealing with this with no win for weeks I got upset and started crying explaining to Leah I wasn't happy with the hairstyle and was terrified I was gonna look awful for my wedding... she calms Me down and assures me she can fix it I say no problem... I start drying up my tears while she puts more dye in my hair and the salon owner walks over and starts an altercation over the way I treated her employee and there was no need for that. I kindly tried to explain what I had said to Leah and how it wasn't offensive I was just asking what I paid for and she kept going. Then Leah starts back up about how I was being "abusive." (I was stunned because we were both on the same page about her fixing me hair and I was more than fine with that, I had expressed my concerns and she said she'd fix it, problem ok- not so much). I began to cry again because let's face it I'm already emotional and upset at that point and Leah went to turn and say something to her and hits my ear with a hairbrush (I assumed this was an accident) and I had had enough. I asked them to rinse my hair and let me pay so I could leave and they both refused to rinse my hair that still had purple hair dye in it and insisted I leave, so I walked out of the store in shock that a place would treat someone like that. I went home and rinsed my own hair out. I take serious offense to Leah insisting I was being abusive, will never go to that salon again and the friends I have that recommended them said they'll never return either.
