Buyer of other security accounts with private equity money, but provider of no service. AVOID AT ALL COST! THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE and DISHONEST. No customer service and no support. See follow up, they never fixed anything! Totally dishonest and incompetent!
I can’t not emphasize enough how absolutely dishonest and terrible Briscoe Protective is a costumer service company. If you choose to use them BEWARE. Our contract was purchased by Briscoe from Bellringer. The agreement was many, many years expired and we had no obligation to continue to use Briscoe. When we called to ask about future services and some hardware issues no one from Briscoe ever responded. We took this an our cue to cancel our system install new hardware (because the software was not transferable). We called and called and they never called back, finally someone responded to one of our many emails and acknowledged they would turn off our service. To this day the monitoring services is still calling our phone to tell us the Alarm is down. They call at 7am they call at 12pm. This is incessant harassment. We have notified Briscoe and the monitoring outsourced service that Briscoe uses to STOP but the problem never ends. Apparently Briscoe is unwilling to accept cancellation even if it’s totally within the rights of the contract and the law and the customers wishes. They don’t want to show the private equity sponsorships that there is a reduction in subscribers. I tell you all of this to save you from being tied to a company that is absolutely incompetent and dishonest.

I cannot recommend Vincent Minichello enough! He is so kind and funny and trustworthy and really does his job with such attention and grace! He is a true expert in the matters of home security and I learned a lot during his visit! Do not hesitate to book with Vincent Minichello! Also John C was wonderful as well they are a great duo! Very complimentary. I was not expecting a same day install and the system up and running so quickly and accessible via my iPhone! I also learned that microphones are illegal to place in the property I had no idea! They know everything and made sure I am educated on home security . I am not a very technologically adept person so the fact he managed to patiently instruct me on how to not only use the app but also open it and download showed how kind and helpful he is. And he is a dog lover so my dogs appreciated that! Thank you Vincent Minichello for your dedicated work! This was our second meeting now. Looking forward to the third! But there may not be because he installed the product too effortlessly and seamlessly that I cannot imagine any issue arising! Best, Ingrid

I would like thank Vince Minichello from Briscoe Protective. He is always professional and goes out the way to help you. He was off the clock today and still picked up my phone to help me . Amazing guy!!!. Has always come to the rescue whenever I have an issue at my home.

This company has gotten impossible to deal with. You cannot reach anyone. Just a message that emergency service is minimum $600. I have been a customer for this and predecessor companies for over twenty years. I am going to call another service and switch. This company has completely lost its way.Still on hold for over an hour.

I feel scammed by them. During covid I put in an alarm while my house was being renovated. The technician left before finishing the job.I never signed up for central station and I made the sales person aware that I will not be using central station. I will be selling the house after the renovations. he said not a problem.I do not own the house anymore never used or signed up for Central station and my the sales person said not a problem pay as you go. Now Briscoe said I owe them $thousands of dollars for services I never had or informed of. I do not even own the house anymore. I still cant get the sales person on the phone.

We had a camera system installed at our car dealership today. Inside and outside cameras. The guys showed up before 8 and were done at 11. These cameras have two way voice, so even in evenings should somebody tresspas, they're talked off the property. If they still remain, Briscoe will dispatch the authorities. Gives us piece of mind. We have high-class vehicles waiting to be picked up each morning so safety on our lot is key.

Our alarm was serviced by Bellringer when we bought the house. Briscoe acquired Bellringer and the service has been terrible since then. It is virtually impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone, and messages go unanswered. We have had two service calls that have resulted in telling us something we already know - the alarm runs on outdated 4G technology. There has been zero effort to give us an estimate to upgrade the system or replace it. One would think Briscoe would be trying to sell in newer equipment to long-standing customers. Instead we get a call at least once a day from the monitoring station to tell us that our alarm isn't working. It is Groundhog Day with Briscoe. We will use another provider.

DO NOT USE this company. They have been bought and sold several times and now are owned by a company somewhere in Colorado. Their customer service is horrific. Now they never answer their phone and when you finally get someone to call you back, they can't help you. There is now no difference between Briscoe and SimpliSafe. We wanted a local company where there was someone to call -- but that is no longer the case. They are truly awful.
