Extremely rude teller. on 09/10/21 I walked into the bank at Southampton and the teller, a white blonde, she was not wearing a name tag, never gave eye contact. Upon leaving I used the hand cleanser and realized that my hand were full of glue. I assumed it was a bad batch so I tried several others in the bank with the same results so I went up to the same teller and explained the situation and response wast thanks for let me know and still not eye contact, not apology. What she should have said was I will remove them and apologize. Very condescending! I explained the situation to another bank employee who was sitting at a desk. He would not even investigate the bad hand cleaners. Jason the manager was out to lunch. Seven Eleven employees are more customer focus then her.

If I could give zero stars I would. My debit card expired on Feb 1st. Silly me, I forgot to update my address with them so new card was sent to my old apartment in January. No biggie I called (800) number and was told a new card would be sent to correct address in 3-5 business days. I waited and waited and waited and by Feb 11th. the new card still had not come so I went into the branch and spoke with a teller. She said that the replacement card I had requested had been lost in transit and that she would order a new one to be sent to me. She said it would arrive in 3-5 business days. Today it is Feb 23rd and I still have not received my replacement debit card in the mail. I went in person to the branch - again - and was told the manager would give me a call when she got back from break. I left the teller with my info and went home to wait for a call. Donna, the manager called me eventually and told me "well actually it can take up to 10 business days so today would really only be the 8th business day". I told her no, that I had made my initial request for a new card on Feb 1st and the teller who supposedly ordered my new card had told me 3 to 5 business days so I had been waiting a lot longer than that and I am pretty miffed that I would be told one thing one day and then another several days later regarding having full access to my funds! Donna told me that she would overnight me a new card and it should be here tomorrow or the next day and that she would waive the $5.00 rush fee. I am also still waiting to speak with the branch manager because I believe that this whole fiasco could have and should have been handled over the phone on Feb 1st because as it stands we are - still - in the middle of a global pandemic and I shouldn't have to go - in - anywhere!!! to handle anything!!!

Don't trust banks? Here's yet another reason not to. A customer paid by cashiers check in the amount of 20k. I get there to the chase on south hampton and this yahoo of a bank manager tells me I can't cash this because I'm not a customer. I end up having to call the client and tell her they wont cash it after I've driven over here already and am waiting to make a cash purchase that they've now most likely screwed the deal on...which is going to cost me thousands more. Now get this, my client calls me back and says they just called her and told her they dont have that amount of money on hand and if they did it's all they have for the day to operate with! Are you shitting me? A bank? You mean to tell me you're so limited by your own shortsightedness that you can't make adjustments for high rollers needing accommodations? Either way, this bank manager lied to me. It's either they don't have enough money or because I'm not a bank customer . It cant be both reasons proving he's lying. Do you feel safe having a bank that can't back the cash your checks are writing? Would you want to bank with a bank that lies as a first response to someone trying to cash a check? Is your money secure at a bank that says one thing and does another like this bank did? If you're smart like me you'll invest in foreign markets. This banking cartel is obviously corrupted. I give chase bank 1 star only because at least the name of the bank is honest. Chase....as in you'll have to chase your money down once they've got it!

I am absolultly d*** founded!!!!!! The Chase banks no longer will except a cash deposit from any person who is not a direct account holder! I was trying to put $1200 into our daughter's account for her college tuition and they would not except it from me " because I'm not the account holder" new policy! Ok another way the government and banks are trying to control every they can. Stop banking at these type of Communist run corporations! If we stand up as Free Americans we will stay free together! When green hard earned cash will no longer be excepted as our currency then we need to check our leadership! Wake up before it's too late!

I've been coming into this branch to pay my credit card issued through Chase. Payments were made by cash with statement. At no time had I ever bee required to show I'd until today. Was told this I their policy. No, it has not been. If that is their policy, it should be consistently applied. Apparently, their policy is made on the fly or is applied to certain customers and not to others. Terrible customer service requiring me to advise of the name of the teller(s) who previously assisted me. But has I have all receipts, if a name or id teller #, I will post it here.

The people are nice but the wait time even for a simple issue to speak with someone has always been too much. One shouldn't need to wait for 30 minutes or more just for simple banking service. The management should be able to remedy this. There were four employees when I walked in. One inside an office on the phone or doing nothing, the other talking with a customer and two behind the counter. At times there were 3 employees available yet no one could take the time to help me. I am so disappointed as this is my neighborhood bank.

Walked in hoping to talk to a banker, lady at the desk said it would be 5 min or less. So I take a seat and wait. 30 min later I still haven't talked to a banker, there's only 1 other person in there waiting and she never get helped either. Waited 20 more min, then decided to leave. Don't come here if you have something to do during your day, very very slow staff.

nothing but pleasant experiences here. all the tellers are nice, and the other employees are very friendly. dealing with closing out my moms account when she passed, was very easy, and the account manager was super nice. i have never had more than 1 or maybe 2 people in front of me in line, and it went very fast. When i lost my ATM card, they let me know which branch could print one for me same day.

I come to this Chase just see her smile. Arielle is so polite, courteous, and nice to talk to. Thanks Chase for hiring employees that make you feel good and appreciates you when you pay your bill.

Jason has provided excellent service to my mom who does things the old school way. I have been very pleased with Benicia Chase's administration of opening and closing of accounts, etc.

This is my new bank. Banks aren't too popular these days and I considered going back to my old credit union. I opted for convenience. I can pop in to use the ATM and then grab a coffee across at Starbucks and then hit the hardware store. My old bank was getting too grabby and inefficient with my money and that of others I know. My former Big Bank wouldn't know me if I walked in the door and encouraged me to go on-line and use the ATM's. They didn't seem to WANT to see me or anyone else if they could help it. The woman who had opened my account at the old bank was cold and acted like she was doing me a favor. When I walked into Chase to open my account, the manager shook my hand. ( I don't think I have ever even seen the manager at my old bank.) The woman who opened my account was professional and friendly. I think this will be a much better experience.
