I went in there today with 3 of my friends and we felt very uncomfortable. We had a great experience looking around at the merchandise but we didn't purchase anything. As we walked out the woman working gave us a very dirty look and proceeded to follow us out of the store and stand behind us as we walked away. If the woman thought we were stealing then she should've said something to us because we would have been more than happy to open our bags. It was a very uncomfortable for all of us and we will NOT be coming back. Do not bring your business here !!!!!

Was looking for a specific skate sneaker (limited release nike sneaker), called up the shop (a different store told me to check there) and spoke with someone named Matt. They assured me they had exactly what I wanted, they can see it right from where they are sitting and if I can stop by today they will hold them for me. They must have even googled the specific sneaker I was looking for because they even told me about specific details on the sneaker. They had one pair left, and although it wasn't in my size it was in one of my kids size and I'm not even sure if we would have worn them, may have kept them as art work. ANYWAY, drive all the way to Southampton. Get to the store, and the workers have no idea what I'm talking about, I let them know I spoke with Matt. Young man proceeds to walk to the office to speak with Matt who tells the worker to tell me that hes not there and went to one of the stores other locations. I had literally spoken to this guy less then an hour ago, but stuff happens. I ask if he can call Matt to find out where the sneakers are that he had put on the 'side' for me to buy and he told me I should come back later. So at this point I'm pretty upset, I had taken time off work to drive all the way there for these sneakers. A female employee comes back and asks me what is wrong, I tell her about the sneakers and speaking with Matt. I tell her the sneakers I'm looking for, and she isn't sure why Matt told me the store has them because they don't have them, didn't have them, and are not getting them.I only gave 2 starts instead of one because of the young lady that was honest with me.As someone who works in the customer service industry its a little RISKY (not knowing how someone will react)to tell someone you have something or promise someone something as a JOKE or to just get them to come into the store, then not even come out of your office to deal with it and possibly risk your employees or coworkers having to deal with an irate customer.

Best spot for all your surf & summer needs. They have surf wax and my favorite brand of workout clothes, Alo. Also very impressed with the upstairs. Lots of selections for the evening and the daylight hours. Thanks!

Monica ruined it all. While shopping this evening there was a nice young gentleman who was helping my friends and I. He was polite, enthusiastic, and a good salesman. I noticed because I myself am a salesman. When I went to the cash register to buy my shirt I opened one of the sunscreens he had been telling me about. Items at the cash wrap are usually testers. Monica approached took the item out of my hand and said now that you put your finger in it I can't sell it. For all Monica knew I was going to buy it. I felt bad so I did buy it but this woman who presume is the owner needs a lesson in Sales from her own associate who is far kinder and ambitious than she. I would not recommend shopping in this store. She could have taken the item and made a sample or tester of it instead of rudely reprimanding a paying customer.

AVOID unless you validate an over priced (double) resort store that doesn't accept returns within 24 hours of purchase. Store credits and exchanges only. Bought 2 swimsuits, decided they were too similar and went back to return 1 to find NO RETURNS. Forced to pick something else that wasn't what I really wanted. Stuck with a $4 credit I'll never use. NEVER GOING BACK. RIP OFF. Same items online for 35% less. If you're going to charge these ridiculous prices, at least have some kind of return policy, doesn't have to be 30 days but 1 day no? Seriously?

Flying Point is a cool surf and sport shop.. a go to place for locals and tourists. They sell all kinds of water sport items & wear. They also have many other items needed to enjoy when out on the east end. My good friend purchased a wetsuit in September to extend his swimming days when the weather turned colder. So he could swim in the bay or pool though chilly out! Not a surfer... a lawyer who loves to keep the swimming season going longer. Hahha. Matt, Eric and Chris were super helpful associates. Checking sizes, products via phone, checking stock in their affiliate stores and holding an item while driving over. It's especially important to get a wetsuit right size wise or water seeps in and its too cold for that. He loved the suit. Once he came over thinking the rear zipper broken... he couldn't reach the zipper tag or get out of it! I checked and it was inside out!! hahaha... Never put a wetsuit on inside out especially if you live alone.. could be trapped in your wetsuit. hahahaha three weeks later there was also a small tear ... and the manufacturer offered to repair via mail.. but so did Flying Point saving time and trips to the post office. Flying Point was great at getting the repair in and done efficiently. When I went to pick it up, just had to give my friends name and they went to the holding room and brought it right out. Its a good example of why a good local shop is really needed... when sizes vary significantly on items and brands. Shopping is so much more than price and mail service... Online retailers could never offer anything close to this great customer service and small town enjoyable experience.

I had a blast shopping at this establishment flying point surf and sport in beautiful south Hampton. I purchased some casual lounge wear which is perfect for hanging around on a Sunday and even around the house. I also purchase a cool beanie cap which will be an excellent addition for my winter wardrobe. The store has huge Selection of casual winter gear, cool t-shirts, fun hoodies and funky casual loungewear perfect for today's world. The store management workers were following covid 19 protocols all wearing masks, social distancing and there was hand sanitizer when completing your. purchase excellent.

Cute boho surf shop in downtown Southampton. So many lovely dresses, clothing, and other accessories. The shop has two levels, so be sure to head on up. I bought a cute Little Words Project bracelet and it's been my favorite find this summer. Friendly staff, easy checkout process. Don't forget your mask.
