It's not the best hotel I've visited, but I liked that they accept dogs ????

Stayed here for a night. The rooms are average. The front desk service was friendly and accommodating. Very clean. They have a great variety for their breakfast. The 5 stars is for their AWESOME massive fire pit! We had the best time sitting there talking with people from all over different states in RI for all different reasons. They also have a great view of the sunset. We will stay again. It’s a convenient location as well. Right near our favorite restaurant Trattoria Romano

This was a horrible experience and I discourage anyone from staying here. I checked in and they told me the water had been turned off but would be back on soon - sure, that’s fine. Once the water was turned back on it was Yellow!! There was no real apology or concern. Further, their internet did not work period. Again, I got no real apology and the front desk repeatedly had an attitude. The rooms themselves were nice and a woman who works at the restaurant was wonderful. But yellow water, no internet, and a front desk staff that’s not helpful and has an attitude. PS this really should be considered a motel - rooms open to the parking lot and I had to drag my bags around the building with no one offering any assistance.

Great location. Clean, simple rooms. No space to worm though and the internet wouldn't connect.

Had to cancel in 2020 due covid 19 pandemic. They would not refund our reservation even though we couldn't get to NY due to NY being the epi-center for the pandemic in the US. Definitely wouldn't recommend and would never book a reservation here if it were the last place available.

Wonderful hotel. Friendly staff. Perfect location. Restaurants are within walking distance. Free shuttle to beach. Family atmosphere. We have gone 3 years in a row.

McDonald’s even has free wifi. It’s a rip off to have wifi as an extra charge.

I want to give background to my rating. I called to check on availability for a block of rooms for a June weekend event and was told there was plenty of availability not to mention was quoted a low rate. I was told to speak to the manager who I left a message for and spoke to a few days later upon her return call. I came to find out the hotel was sold out that weekend and there was nothing available and rate quoted was completely incorrect. Meanwhile I booked a house as well for that weekend and the hotel was to accommodate the overflow of folks for that weekend. Unfortunately there was nothing SH Inn could offer me and the manager was apologetic. Ultimately we had to cancel the house and completely change the plans. A huge disappointment but also I stayed there several times and also recommend it, yet they didn’t even offer for me to come back another time with some incentive. Apologies are nice but it was a huge inconvenience and fact nothing was offered for our return given our loyalty tells a lot about management philosophy.

Very unique hotel. Great location. Not luxurious, not a Motel Six, simply well groomed. Very good restaurant fare, service and friendliness. Poor WiFi and some rooms have sound issues. Very good value for Southampton.

a kind of time capsule of an inn in the 70s. Rooms are clean. walls are thin. grounds are tidy. restaurant food ok. service not so much. location kicks it up to 4****..

I stayed here last week for one night. I really only slept in the room as I was out playing golf all day and left early the next morning. Upon arriving in the room, I noticed some scratches on the desk in the top left hand corner. I thought nothing of it at the time but now I know I should have taken a picture. When I arrived back to my home, I noticed my credit card had been charged $100 for what the hotel called 'desk damage'. I immediately called the hotel and they told me there was hot water damage to the desk. I asked to speak with a manager and was told he wasn't in but he would call me back after he arrived at 10:00 AM. I have called back several times and I have yet to receive a call back. The funny thing is, they put the coffee maker on the desk... what do they expect? This place is a scam! I guarantee they charge everyone staying in room 247 the $100 fee for 'desk damage'. STAY AWAY or make sure you take a lot of pics and videos of the room when you check in!

Came for a ladies weekend. Rick at the front desk went out of his way to help us with the fire pit on the patio. He and all the staff were extremely gracious. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. Beautiful spot, we will return!

Customer service isn’t great. I called not knowing there was a two night minimum. Was informed by the woman on the phone that if I called back on Thursday they would be able to lift the minimum. Call back Thursday, they don’t lift until the day of. Kind of silly and as a business owner would think they would want to have the room booked at least one night than no nights, especially only 24-36 hours prior to check in. Clearly front desk employees aren’t on the same page.
