“We're new to the area and decided to establish ourselves with a local mechanic. Our car needed an inspection, so we contacted Albrecht's to schedule an appointment. A few days later, we brought the car in. We were warmly greeted by an extremely friendly and likable receptionist. The car was taken to the shop, serviced, and was ready in about 25 minutes. No problems, no high-pressure sales tactics, and no scare tactics. It was a great experience with some genuinely nice people. It is a clean shop with a small, clean waiting room with free coffee. I would strongly recommend them to anyone needing auto work.”

“This review was long overdue. I wanna think Dean and Paul both for taking care of my GMC. I recently got my 2014 GMC terrain transfer case replaced. I dropped off the car. They had it for two days put it in no problem Unfortunately, had to come back because I forgot to supply a gasket and had a slight leak And unfortunately, the job had to be redone a second time, but Paul reassured me that he would be able to take care of it and could resolve the issue with a simple fix sourcing the gasket from We scheduled a second time for me to bring my car back that was convenient for me and him got the gasket replaced stopped the leak. They did a phenomenal job. Standby. The work extremely reliable to this day. I still recommend all my coworkers and friends and family that need to go to reliable local family owned full service shop. And I’m looking for honest and trustworthy people to work on their vehicle. There’s no better spot to go in Poughkeepsie. Thanks you everyone at Paul’s Moters repair shop I will be back in the future for another major or minor repair job and god bless you and your family’s”
“The folks at Foreign Car Specialists stood behind their parts and labor when a fan motor resistor failed after only 1 year in the car. They also remediated a problem with the glove box access to a motor which, for a year, I was puzzled as to why I could no longer get the glove box to open (never dreaming a mechanic would try to access a fan motor via the glove box). Standing behind their parts and labor is a huge plus in my book. And addressing a problem that had been caused during the previous repair work was an even bigger plus. Integrity.”

“Last year we had a transmission issue with our Subaru and our mechanic said it would cost around 3K but referred us to Consumer Transmission. Job was completed for a third the price. Leaving Fla this spring and going to flat tow our Jeep Grand Cherokee and couldn’t get the transmission in neutral for towing. Fla jeep dealer estimated it would cost over 5k. Jeep was drivable so I drove it home and straight to Consumer. Job successfully completed for a fifth what I was quoted in Fla. I highly recommend Gary and his crew!!! They are 2 for 2 in my book!!!”
